UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao (7/21 on PPV) - Who Booked This Crap?

Well. I'd say it was worth my $50. From the second fight of the ppv on it was weak. The crowd was restless. Lot of guys who train at sea level so I wonder if altitude was an issue.

Arena was more full than I expected

Barao was solid, Faber was shooting super lazily.

I thought Lombard one, but neither I'd anything

Ebersole vs Head was a joke. Both had no ideas

Kongo landed ok, but his terrible tendency to strike twice and clinch is infuriating. He could of finished Jordan

Undercard was fun though. Crowd was amped with good fights

Didn't like all the in ring hugs tonight

I was thinking of leaving after the third round to beat the train rush. I gave the card the benefit of low expectations and it failed to even clear those.

At least Jimmo repped well
 
Presser will be fun. Should have figured out if fans could attend. Booing was loud, chants of refund and bullshit, Dana is already flipping out on twitter
 
I'd gain respect for Dana if he just came out, admitted it was shit and they will try better next time (with a discount on tickets). Likelihood of this happening?

@Calgary baller thanks I was looking at going to the Toronto show and wanted to know the expierence if its worth the ticket price and sorry the ppv you went to was so bad in terms of the big fights but the prelims were sweet.
 
Plans to go to Calgary for it fell through and I didn't even manage to watch it, which is a rarity. But from the sounds of it, I missed attending or seeing one of the worst UFC events ever. I guess that's disappointing in a way....
