Mike Max of CBS Minnesota reports that the Vikings will indeed attempt to trade Percy Harvin this offseason.

Citing "sources," Max reports that Harvin unleashed an "embarrassing" tirade on coach Leslie Frazier during the season, and the episode not only alienated coaches but Harvin's teammates, as well. The sides now appear headed for divorce, even if the Vikings deny it vehemently so as to avoid losing trade leverage. Harvin had a similar incident with ex-Vikings coach Brad Childress. Although acquiring a first-rounder for Harvin may prove too difficult, Minnesota figures to ask for at least a second-rounder and some change.

A lot of Redskins fans are saying that they should essentially give up on this years draft and trade their 2nd and a 4th for Harvin. Makes sense since they have little cap room and taking on one larger contract could be better than 5 or 6 smaller ones.

We don't need to give up the draft picks for an injury prone head case. We've learned from before how these investments turn out for us.

Kind of agree with this. The Redskins gotta get out of this get the best free agent ideal. Fantasy football doesn't win championships, solid drafting does. And with the new rookie caps, you don't built by giving up picks for guys like Harvin, you do your homework and get Russell Wilson for minimum wage for four years.

I mean, the Redskins are going to be mentioned like this for a long time, but that transition has already started with the Shanahan/Allen era. Look at how many draft picks were on this team under Gibbs- not many. We've kept a few of those players, but by and large, these are players that were drafted and developed by Washington in the draft. The past three drafts have been our best of the past 10 years, back to the Bailey/Jansen and Arrington/Samuels drafts. But football fans at large still think the best FA thing is still ongoing.

What SK mentioned is that the Redskins will suffer the same penalty from last year, with some more added on, for allegedly circumventing the cap during the uncapped season. Considering these penalties and the lack of a first rounder, they are arguing trading picks for a player, to try and tidy things up. Fact is, this team has the horses, but still needs the depth. I'd actually advocate trading down from a couple spots and acquiring more picks. We had a heavy presence at the Senior Bowl again this year, so that's what I would expect the team to do.

As an Eagles' fan, it pains me to say this, but I hope the best for RG3. I want him to recover 100%, because he's a good guy and good for the NFL. The NFL is a better place with a 100% percent RG3. That said, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Kirk Cousins is a top 15 NFL QB by the end of next season ... barring RG3 getting the help Adrian Peterson got this off-season.
