I make my comment about you and knubb, you counter with asscheek flapping.
you dont want to read opinions. you want people like medelin to kiss you ass and tell you how great your doing so u will plug his whatever he has. you dont want real feedback or criticism...and you really cant handle it anyways.
First off, of course I appreciate guys like Medellin that have enjoyed our podcast from the beginning. I also don't think his enjoyment stems from us plugging designs that everyone on the site already knows about.
I mentioned "asscheek flapping" as a general response to the poor feedback given (outside of SethMode). This is the first post you've made with actual reasoning besides (and I'm paraphrasing) 'you guys suck'.
As for me not wanting feedback, please stop lying. I just want feedback that's relevant and worthwhile.
What I can't handle is a bunch of posturing and, as I put it before, "asscheek flapping". If you have something to say and can actually back it up with solid reasoning and assertions, by all means, tell me. But if you don't, just shut up.
I am going to now do a sentence-by-sentence breakdown of your post, FirstTimer-style.
Nothing constructive mentioned.
there is absolutely no reason for anyone to listen to it.
Nothing constructive mentioned.
there is nothing you guys can say factually that i cant read 2 weeks ago.
I don't believe this is always true. Correction - I KNOW this isn't true. Our information is typically from that week - hell, a lot of it is from that day. Unless you actually work for a game publisher (Highly unlikely) or sit around reading all of the latest gaming news as it breaks (Much more likely), then our podcast should have some relevant information.
you opinions on topics offer no value or insight.
Nothing constructive mentioned.
You semi review games weeks later...but its nothing more then what gets said in posts on this forum.
We reviewed LA Noire the week it came out. We reviewed inFamous 2 a week later because of all the E3 stuff. I'll be reviewing Trenched in next week's episode.
Should I apologize for not getting games early like professional gaming journalists?
your discussions are long and boring and its more a less a circle of babbling.
Long and boring? Eh, maybe. We get into discussions and sometimes they go off the rails. However, we've improved in recent weeks with staying focused on the subject at hand. The off-hand jokes won't go away though.
Its a pointless effort for a pointless website. So we cant expect much anyways.
If it's so pointless, why are you here all the time? Maybe that says more about you than I. At least we're trying to do something constructive for the community.
again, i think jay is a good host and twigg has something to offer but the 4 of you together is painful to listen to
I agree. Jay is a good host and Twigg has great gaming knowledge. However, I also think KNUBB and I provide something valuable to the podcast as well (beyond our technical abilities). You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but I'd like to believe many others here agree with me.
So, all in all, the majority of your post lacks any real content. Here's the breakdown:
- 33% of your sentences (3/9) say absolutely nothing
- 22% of your sentences are (at least partially) incorrect (2/9)
- 44% of your sentences are subjective takes on the podcast and VSD with no actual thoughts on how to improve.
I'll give you the 44%, but that's still a failing grade.
EDIT: I will say, this is certainly the longest-running podcast thread we've ever had.
