I guess I should've known who was bad mouthing me in the CB, and it wouldn't take long to figure out the lackeys that agree with his opinion. I'm not sure what I ever did to piss Atlas off but honestly I don't give a fuck. Is it because I supposedly owe him money for something I never agreed to? That can't be it because as far as I know he still likes Brnt and gave a PS3 to the guy that agreed to the podomatic deal in the first place. All I know is I went from him asking me to be a Mod in the old Game Room section to one day having that removed. I never did anything with it though so I didn't care either way. Now basically every "vet" of the site is some kind of mod except me, which I get a serious laugh out of. I should take a picture of my face right now though to show how much of a fuck I give about that. I just think it's amusing.

Either way, as far as I'm concerned I'm doing it for fun but I also think I bring a modicum of credibilty to this thing. I don't talk out of my ass and I'm passionate about games. When I interject it's normally because I feel strongly about something and want to help further the discussion on a certain topic. It's no secret that I'm outspoken so I'm not afraid to put my two cents in. I'm also the only person involved (that I know of) that has done anything remotely to promote this thing. Whenever I can I put the word out on Twitter and Facebook. I would venture to say that 80% of the loyal listeners of the show are people that I brought on board. Co-workers, family members and other gamers that have their own podcasts like the Gamer Husbands and the 40 Cast Crew.

I also think that Jay does a tremendous job. I think he's a damn fine host and is the backbone of the whole operation. I think his only fault is his lack or organization sometimes with getting people together and misunderstanding communications on occasion. I think the copious amount of shit he gets from people around here is borderline ridiculous. I bust his balls but it's only because I love the kid. He obviously puts a lot of hard work into this shit. Bomber is the consummate professional and an amazing host. I honestly don't see how I can be seen as "sidetracking" or "derailing" the show anymore than he ever does with his anectdotes like "Honestly Brnt, I've always pictured you as the guy that bums cigarettes off of everyone..." and then ten minute long discussion about how he pictures everyone. BUt I personally think that is awesome and what makes the show unique. Brnt is defintely the wild card and brings a nice heaping of comic relief.

Hell, we had quite the time "derailing" the show last week and still managed to cover all the topics in under an hour and a half.

Also, LOL at Med saying Knubb is the "muscle" of the group. That mfer hasn't done one of these things in forever. And when he was on it was just "That shit is butt cheeks." "Fuck Xbox." I still love Knubb though.

Please Atlas, elaborate on what I need to "tone down". I would love to hear your expert opinion.

Twigg, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

As it stands right now:

- Jay is the most balanced of the bunch. He keeps us organized, sets the agenda, pulls the group together, and provides solid commentary. He needs to be the backbone and a regular contributor.

- Bomber is the talent. He arrives on set two hours late, but he does exactly what he's supposed to do with the god-given talent he has and he puts asses in the seats. There's simply no replacement for that.

- Twigg is the researcher. No one wastes money on games like Twigg does and nobody else spends has their thumbs on the sticks as often as he. Frankly, his opinion IS more qualified than the rest of us simply because of how much time he puts in to playing his systems.

- I'm the weirdo that hangs around on the corner that these guys run by every day. I somehow got to know them and made them laugh a lot, so they let me come in (half-drunk and half-naked) and amuse them for a ham sandwich. Every harvest moon I'll say something with a modicum of value.

That's how this thing works. There's no reason to bitch about any of it, because it wouldn't really be the same without any of us.

All of a sudden one day Knubb tells us all that you paid for the podomatic subscription out of the kindness of your heart. Then the following week Knubb tells uis that you are looking for payback and I told him right away I never agreed to paying for it so why would I pay? Had you have come to us initially and said "Hey guys, I flip the bill for podomatic if you pay me back. It's going to cost X dollars." I would've told yuou then I wasn't interested because it is just for fun. If it were some money making venture I'd be all in, but it's not. And yet you have no problems spending money for prize give aways for what I would imagine was to boost users to the site, which didn't seem to happen at all. Did you ask Knubb to pay you pack for the Xbox...or the Xbox Live subscription...or the games?
2)And back to your problem with me and the Xbox because I would seriously like to put this to rest. You need to get your head out of your ass. How many times do I need to go over this? You're one of those people that see a few posts of mine that are negative towards the 360 and shout "PS3 fanboy!". Are you fucking kidding me? I'm critical of Sony and the PS3 all the fucking time. You just see what you want to see. Most recently I said Sony was fucking insane to think they can charge $60 for LBP Karting. Do I prefer Sony as a company and the PS3 as a console? Yup. But that doesn't make me a fanboy. I think a lot of MS's marketing and business practices are slimy and that's mostly why I don't like them as much. But fanboy? If I were a fanboy why the fuck would I have 100+ 360 games? Why would I buy a brand new Gears of War console (which also brings me to my criticism of Sony NOT having themed consoles) when there wasn't a damn thing wrong with my Xbox at the time? Why would I spend countless hours playing through games like Gears 3 on Live with Swarley and Med? I still remember your lists of users on the site in which I made one. Everything was spot on except the whole fanboy part. You're clueless.

I posited the question this morning on Twitter and not a single person thought I should leave. And before you say "Well, they follow you, of course they like you." Wrong. Some of the people follow me and I follow them just because of the great debates we have on Twitter, mostly game related. For the most part we have completely different opinions on almost everything. The few people that I know that listen from my department are only acquaintances of mine and will tell me in a heartbeat that I suck dick. They say that I'm the reason they listen. One of the guys sent me a DM on Twitter and admitted he stopped listening a while back because everyone else sounded like "toolbags" but the only reason he listened for as long as he did was because of me. I can't say I agree with him about the others but at least that's his opinion and he's being honest.

And again, Padman said we had 60 downloads this past episode. I would be willing to bet one of my paychecks that a majority percentage of those downloads are from people that kn ow me in one way or the other and have heard about the damn thing from my word of mouth. Another huge chunk is probably from people that know Bomber from his radio show.
