I don't think they are anywhere near the same

SF are on a 3 game skid but yet still in playoff contention . Smith came in and lite it up last week so they are thinking he earned his shot . If it backfires I could see some backlash seeing how they are still in the race

Young has done nothing to earn this job .... but they are not in contention . They are just finding out what he has before next years draft/fa . If Young comes in and sucks it's not a bad move . You had to find out what he had since the season is over

Tenn has everything to gain and nothing to lose

SF on the other hand has alot to lose

I agree with this.

TEN HAS to make this move; they're winless on the season, and they need to salvage any type of season they were "supposed" to have this year.

If that means out with the old and in with the temporary new, then so be it.
 
VY is nothing more than a run-1st QB with an average arm who can't read a defense. Tennessee needs to find a Franchise QB.

If anyone thinks that Vince Young is actually the franchise QB right now needs to get a brain. Young is gone after this season.

Despite limited playing time, he hasn't completed a pass yet. All his passes against the Colts probably should have been intercepted and he threw a bad pick against the Pats.

Yeah, he's that bad.
