I dont want Luke Scott. We dont need another guyw ho either strikes ourt or hits a HR. Plus he is not a good LF and we enough DHs on our team.

Theres a diff between not making errors and being too slow in LF. If you cant run and attempt to catch a lot of balls then you have less chance to make an error.

He was batting 3-36 this july.

Washburn has been nice this year. The Tigers got a dangerous top 3 with Verlander, Jackson and Washburn. Imagine if a couple of their other pitching prospects could've panned out.. they might have the best rotation in the majors then.

If they keep Washburn next season, then you add a Porcello without a inning cap, plus Galarraga who is great when hes right, thats a sick rotation. Thats basically what they have now since Armando is pitching great again.

Uhh what about names like Jeremy Bonderman, Kyle Sleeth, Joel Zumaya.. and even guys like Mike Maroth and Nate Robertson who were supposed to be a lot better than they were.

I wasnt being sarcastic about asking who, I was serious.

Bonderman had a good year in 06, started 8-0 in 07, then got hit with injuries really since then. Hes never going to be ace thats for sure, Hes a good 4th starter when hes right though. Sleeth was a disaster. I think he was their top pick and now hes out of baseball. Maroth and Robertson just sucked.

About Zumaya, that got more than they should have out of him. Hes obviously not done yet, but for a 10th round project he certainly gave them more than you expect.

The Tigers viewed a lot of those guys as future ACE's, I really think they were the only people that did.

Who said anything aout sarcasm? You asked who and I told you who.

All 3 of those guys were once considered top line prospects. None of them have panned out. So basically what im saying is 100% accurate.. if Sleeth or Bonderman pan out, the Tigers rotation might be the best in the majors easily.

Perhaps you're misunderstanding what I was saying... I never said any of the players I listed were good major leaguers, but they were all supposed to be.

Zumaya was never expected to be a top reliever by any means. He wasn't a high draft pick, and he caught some lightning as a reliever.

Sleeth was fine until he blew out his elbow.

Bonderman, everyone should have known he would be terrible after his first season.

Maroth and Robertson? WTF? They were never ever expected to be good. That's like saying we picked up Ramon Santiago thinking he'd be an all-star every year.

Mike Maroth was a top prospect actually.

When Robertson came up all you Tigers fans were all over his balls.. how things have changed.

Lol @ you Tigers fans and saying you didnt expect anything from Bonderman like Tigers fans werent bonnering over the guy for years before he came up to the majors.

And whats the difference if Zumaya was a 10th rounder or not? Dude was a high level prospect and all you Tigers fans dubbed him as the future closer. Real talk.

Im not putting words in anyones mouth.. how old are you? Everything ive said has been legit infact. Tigers fans were all over Robertson's jock when he came up (not once did I mention the word ace anywhere, whos the one putting words in other peoples mouths?). Marorth WAS a top flight prospect.. Sleeth WAS a top flight prospect.. Tigers fans were salivating at Joel Zumaya and his 100MPH fastballs. If you're trying to tell me any of this is inaccurate, you're either stupid or cant accept reality.

Again.. you seem to be FULLY missing the point here. Im not labelling any of these guys as good or will be good.. they were SUPPOSED to be good. If you're trying to tell me Bonderman, Sleeth, Zumaya, and Maroth werent all pegged as good major leaguers you obviously have no clue what you're talking about.
