75 yards is not really contained considering roddy white averaged 86 a game but i'll give you it if the fins can hold him to that cuz they won't.

Sean Smith is a rookie but has been a beast in the pre-season.

To be honest I took notice to that today for the first time. I was in a thread that had nothing whatsoever to do with the Fins and somehow managed to throw them into the thread. It's a problem I have had since child hood.


I didn't say you liked the DHB I was just trying to enlighten you with what I believe a homer is.

You basically said it all right there. He's been elite for "2 seasons". If I'm not mistaken Derek Anderson looked like a top tier QB for two seasons, would you have gone out and called him elite? I wouldn't.

Roddy White if he continues to play at the level he has these last two seasons he is no doubt elite. I'm one of those guys that would rather wait and find out before I start throwing around the word "elite".

The only reason I'm questioning wether he's "elite" or not is because my definition of elite is top 5 . I don't think White's a top 5 WR, yet. With Matt Ryan he'll continue to get better. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in the same category as the Larry Ftizgerald's and Andre Johnson's of the world.

If you consider top 5 elite, then no I don't think he's elite quite yet. But I think he's right there, prob in the 6-9 range.

But saying he is a product of the running game is a terrible argument, since he had his breakout year in 07 when the Falcons were in the bottom 10 in rushing offense.
