BTW Dave..........I have never ever seen the Iggles run so much shotgun before. This was a pleasant surprise hands down. I say it was about 50% of the plays.....which is just crazy in the Reid era.

From game 8 on last year, they were running shotgun constantly.
I don't know why, mind you.
I hate Reid's playcalling.

I knew it was too early to write off the D. They weren't going to show anything in the pre season and it was good to see McDermott show no fear yesterday.

And fuck Carolina. That's the second time they fucked McNabb's ribs up on a late hit. I'd just keep him out til after the bye week and hope we can beat KC because beating NO without 5 would be damn near impossible. The last thing we need is for this injury to linger all season.

I know it won't happen but I wish they'd bring AJ back or Garcia for this game vs. NO. Kolb is trash and won't give us any chance to win. The D will have to play out of its mind to keep us in it vs. the Saints.

If you would kindly see what time I posted that response you would understand why I posted it. Did you think our defense was playing well in the first quarter? Because if you did, then I guess we were watching different games. The eagles as a team didnt look impressive at all during the first, the defense looked even worse.

Now, obviously after watching the full game I was very pleased with the way the defense played. Although Delhomme was throwing us cookies, the front 7 was forcing him to.
