if in fact the rams line can come out and be healthy and steven jackson is feeling up to it i feel the rams can actually pull out a win

although with Adam Carriker out for the season and the defensive line in shambles unless the seahawks come out like last year and run us out I feel confident that the rams secondary led by Oj atogwe can handle the hawks.

It isn't too hard to just let the un-used threads fall to the bottom. I honestly believe all of them will be used. It isn't just for "during the game". If something happens like Mark Bulger takes a huge dump on the field, of course everybody will flock to it and post about it.

Since I started posting on forums, I've never seen a 1 thread for all of the NFL games. Once we get things situated, we may be putting these in a sub-forum depending how this trial run goes.

Seattle is going to battle it out with the Cards until the very end. Seattle has a solid team this year. Hopefully Walter Jones and Marcus Trufant can come back and have solid seasons. TJ will help out a lot. All we need is either Julius or Edgerin to step it up. Next year we draft a safety and running back.

Edge hasn't been an above average player in several years, and Julius Jones hasn't lit the world on fire.

In fact, Seattle has struggled on the ground largely since Steve Hutchinson left.

The Rams have three edges in this game, ironically, two of which have been pushed as stregths for Seattle in this very thread---the run game, and the defensive backfield. OJ Atogwe, Ron Bartell, and James Buter are rising stars. Seattle just singed a starting Safety off the street, and PUP'd another.

The third edge, is the kicking game. Josh Brown is a very good K who just lacks opportunities, and Donnie f'n JOnes is the best P in the league, and you can make a reasonable argument he has been the best Rams player the last two years.

Well, the Rams have a weak offensive line, a weak receiving core, and a quarterback who is throwing his career away. Marc Bulger is a true system quarterback with no system around him.

Basically outside of Jackson (who will probably be injured during the coin toss) and Avery.. the Rams are in bad bad shape.

My only regret is they got rid of Tye Hill. Hasselbeck could walk up to Tye pre snap.. tell him what route his WR will run.. tell him he will throw it to him... and Tye would still get beat like Tila Tequila at the Lights Out Mansion.

Rushing game.. yeah the Rams have the edge. Unfortunately your passing game is so pedestrian now that teams can put 8 and 9 in the box to slow that down. Agree with losing Hutch.. that's fucked us since the moment it happened. Really excited to see what Max Unger will do though, he has stud written all over him.. and we plugged him in at right guard for this game, ironically now the clear best side to our line with Unger and Willis after the left side was so good for so long with Walter and Hutch.

Disagree about the secondary for the Rams though. Outside of Atogwe.. it's miserable. We cut Russell and instantly became better for it. Milloy won't start.. he will probably play very scarcely and on obvious run downs at most. Babineaux will move back to safety and while he'll never be confused for an Adrian Wilson or Atogwe.. he's a lot better than Russell (who is basically like Tye Hill was in an earlier description). We'll be without Trufant.. but Lucas, Wilson and my man Kelly Jennings will be fine.

Kicking game .. whatever. I suppose punting is a big deal when you don't score. Josh Brown buried FG's on us last year.. you still lost both. Mare is fine.
