All young QBs(even the great ones) go through this, but yeah, the scary part is he's regressing. His ball security is horrible - 9 fumbles and 16 INTS. Now his teammates are starting to throw him under the bus.

Maybe the Jets should have signed a veteran QB during the off-season to help tutor the kid, show him how to play the position. Eli had Kurt Warner to watch and learn from.

Exactly......also the Jets offensive gameplan is setting the rookie up to fail....they are not helping his development one bit by throwing him to the wolves like they are......we're down 24-0 to the Patriots and those crazy Belichick defensive schemes......put us on your back rookie and save us! unrealistic expectations are being placed on Sanchez.....that 3-0 start was the worst thing that could've happened to him.....everyone expected Flacco or Ryan part 3.....throw in the fact that they also have a rookie coach, I mean c'mom man!

Which is unrealistic...those two(along with Big Ben) were the exception, not the rule. It takes years to truly understand what it takes to be an NFL QB.

If Sanchez continues to be a turnover machine, bench him. Let the kid sit and learn. Hell, even Troy Aikman got benched.
