Week 11: (6-3) Arizona @ (1-8) St. Louis

Close call, and I think we all know why, so let's move on.

Kurt Warner has been known to play injured, when he shouldn't be playing, and if that's the case here, things could get ugly for Arizona in the upcoming weeks. Personally, I'd like to see him sit out next week, even though it's a probable loss. I'd take a 7-4 record, over having him screw himself up even more, especially with the postseason coming up.

However, it's Kurt Warner - so he'll play next week, and more than likely stink it up, and end up going 7-4, anyway, because he won't be 100%.

That's what I'm talking about.

There are only a small percentage of the fanbase that don't like and appreciate Warner, and half of them are jilted about Leinart being sent to the bench. For the sane Cardinals fans, dude is a GOD in Glendale. Warner would have to play JaMarcus Russell-esque for the rest of his days for people to want him out and even then, he'll still be given a pass and be admired for leading the Cardinals to post-season success and seconds away from a SB.

Zona fans are VERY grateful, don't get it confused.

I'm torn because I'd rather see Warner sat vs. the Titans because it would still be a winnable game and the Cardinals could definitely beat the Vikings if Warner is healthy. Another bonus is that we could finally see Leinart sink or swim as a starting QB and come to a definite conclusion that we need to move on.

I definately want to see the Warner/Minnesota match up (Could be a postseason preview..) But I want to see a healthy Kurt Warner for that game. If Leinart would have shown something out there today, they may have considered sitting Warner, but I'm fairly certain, he'll be in there against the Titans. If it comes down to Whisenhunt asking Warner if he's ready, then Warner will be out there, healthy or not.

And if that's the case, next week could be a very ugly game.

I'd like to know how serious the injury is, but the problem is, when it comes to Kurt Warner, you never get the full story behind his injuries.
