Detective Gary Hassen says officers answered a report of a fight at Bar West in Pacific Beach shortly before 1:30 a.m. Monday.
Hassen says a witness claimed Cromartie threw a champagne bottle but the Pro Bowl back says it slipped from his hand.
A man suffered a cut to the back of his head but nobody was hospitalized or arrested.
Hassen says Cromartie is under investigation for assault with a deadly weapon.
The incident occurred hours after the Chargers beat the Denver Broncos 32-3.
A call to the Chargers seeking comment wasn't immediately returned.

I went and tailgated with my friend, got so wasted I didn't even want to watch the game anymore. I sold my ticket took the light rail home, got home turned on the game and fell asleep watching it.
I actually do things on gamedays, so I really never post on the day of the game.

Although this was the first time in a long time I didn't watch the entire game live. It was a blast tailgating and I actually made a couple bucks when I sold my ticket. Not only did I come out ahead $$$ wise I didn't have to suffer that bull shit first hand. I had nose bleed seats so I wasn't that enthusiastic about watching the game in person... I'd much rather watch it at home in my "man cave."
I don't get to go to Broncos games that often so I see it as more of an event then anything. I had hella of a time shotgunning beers, playing beer pong, and jugging vodka. So much so I wanted to go home and sleep... If that makes me less of a fan then so be it I guess.
