What does Gilbride have to do with this ?
His work this year has been stupendous.This offense doing what its done with a bunch of rookie WRs and the loss of a 1000 yard rusher is extremely impressive.

They put up a mountain of points and may have put up more if it wasnt for fumbles....shit Ill trade you Gilbride for Garrett in a heart beat.

The defense has been decimated by injuries.

Giants fans baffle me with being mad at the coaches when theyre the only thing keeping the team from being a total disaster.

Some thoughts from last night:

Crazy game...what a big win for the Eagles.

Eagles have had the Giants number lately...especially in Giants stadium.

The refs were brutal for both teams last night.

Eagles need to learn to wrap up and tackle players, some of those plays were embarrassing.

I know one has nothing to do with the other but it was nice to get back at these bitch ass New Yorkers after the Yankees beat the Phils in the World Series.

I've given Reid alot of shit for his play calling and in game management but he has been great the last 4 games. That final drive last night to put them up 45-31 was a thing of beauty. I won't get too excited though because he seems to follow this pattern every year, and the Eagles are usually good for one more let down game. Hopefully it doesn't happen, but it wouldn't shock me.

Why are you grouping all the fans together?

I've been McNabb's biggest supporter his whole time here and 80% of the fan base is the same way. It's just the 20% loud mouth dopes who get all the attention for whatever reason. I give big props to McNabb for having the success he's had with basically no weapons (outside of 2004 and 2009) and the fact that Reid's offense is one dimensional at times.

My problem with Reid is his play calling and in game management. Both can be brutal and incredibly inconsistent. That's the truth. The good qualities of Reid is he's pretty good at putting a team together and preparing for a game, usually.

i think we can all agree now that DeSean Jackson is the best WR in the NFC East and most dangerous.

Yeah, I really think it's 80%. Most fans are pro-McNabb. There are definitely clowns like the ones you mentioned who want Kolb, but those people are quiet now. Next loss they'll be on the radio saying how McNabb sucks, blah blah blah. They're definitely in the minority, though.

Exciting game, refs blew but thankfully the Eagles pulled that one out. Some SERIOUS tackling practice is needed this week, that was totally unacceptable

when your offense scores 5 TD's and you still lose theres something seriously wrong there. this defense needs an overhaul. i am so sick and tired of seeing Osi get pushed up the field every single damn play, he is a shell of his former self, and outside of Webster that secondary is straight up garbage. that last eagles drive for a touchdown was so painful to watch. 91 yard drive without a single third down. that is just straight up pitiful. i knew after the first half the giants needed to score on every possession for a chance to win and they blew two chances to take the lead. now we gotta hope the giants win out and the cowboys stumble since its gonna be those two teams fighting for the last wildcard spot. giants really would of did a lot for themselves tonight with a win, not only would they of been right there for the division they would of at least had a wildcard spot, but now its basically out there hands. they still have a chance to make the playoffs but its getting slimmer and slimmer.

Osi's coming off that knee injury though......I don't think we could expect him to be the same dominating player he was in 07....it's going to take some time

With that said, even with the flaws we will still win these next three games, Dallas will lose one more time and we'll be in the playoffs

Yep. I never, never, NEVER understand why people jump all over McNabb's nuts every season and say we need to get rid of him. Without him our team would be nothing. I know he is inconsistent at times, but hes the best QB in the history of our franchise, and probably always will be (maybe thats a bad thing, maybe thats a good thing... we will see). But unless Philly fans want to witness a 3 or so year rebuilding period (probably even longer), McNabb is our QB.... with Reid as our HC.

Maybe it has to do with his shaky SB performance. Look at all the crap Eli Manning & Tom Coughlin got here in NY(remember the 'Eli was adopted' signs?). Shit, Coughlin was on the verge of being fired. But winning the big one shuts everyone up.
