Packers are done now. If Jermichael's injury is anything significant, there is no point in getting a running back. One player isn't going to make the difference. Amazing how many significant injuries one team can sustain in such a little amount of time.

The injuries that they sustained this week will only keep the guys out a week or two, so I think it could be okay to not write the season off yet. Finley and Matthews will be okay in a week or two and you can't help but be a little bit relieved with the performances of Bishop and Peprah today. They stepped up when they were needed. If TT pulls off the unthinkable and gets Deangelo Williams this offense gets much much better.

From what I've heard, the Panthers listened to 2-3 phone calls today regarding Williams and then stated there was no way they were trading him. My sources could be wrong, but I doubt it.

I honestly don't think it matters if we do get Williams or not. McCarthy could have CJ back there, he isn't running the football. I am really fed up and sick of his unwillingness to run the football.

I hate Brandon Jackson but he was averaging over 11 yards per carry and you only run 13 times. WTF? Even if you take away the big run early in the game he was averaging 4.9 yards per carry. Run the fucking ball.

I guess I am old school. I will take a smash mouth grind it out and eat clock offense over chucking the ball all over the yard any day. I don't believe you can win, especially when the tundra becomes frozen, without a decent running game. Even if you insist on chucking it around, at least balance the offense a little. 53 pass attempts to 13 runs is not balanced and it allows the defense to sit in nickel and pin their years back and come after Rodgers. Not cause we can't run, but because they know we won't even bother. My patience with McCarthy is possibly as thin as it has ever been.

McCarthy needs to go for his crappy playcalling, which has been crappy since he arrived in town except the team was talented enough to overcome it. TT needs to go for his inability to build an offensive line and not acquiring solid free agent talent in areas of need when it is on the table. You and I don't see eye to eye often, but I could not agree more on this. Pretty much 100% exactly the way I see it. I don't think I'm quite to the "They have to go" point, but I'm approaching it quickly. And when I do reach that point, it will be for the exact reasons you just stated. I'm just sick of watching the same issues plague this team year to year and all the empty promises about how they are going to get fixed. They never are.

Beyond his shitty play calling, the insane amount of penalties we have had over the past few years and his retardedness in handling the special teams situation. Firing a terrible ST coach and then hiring his terrible understudy. So let me get this straight, your special teams suck ass. You fire your shitty coach and replace him with a guy who learned under said shitty coach. Again, WTF? Low and behold the special teams still suck ass and McCarthy won't fire new shitty ST coach.

The possibility of being a bonafide SB contender seems to be slipping away on a week by week basis for us Cheeseheads.

The season is NOT over, true. But this isn't the 12 or 13 win team we were expecting. Being THAT type of team, a powerhouse dominant team, feels alot better than being the 10-ish win team that eeks into the Playoffs.

... that's what we're all saying. The season is not over yet. But if it DOES end, this is one of those games that sealed the Packers fate.

Not calling for it yet. Just approaching. As I said, just frustrated with seeing the same mistakes and stubbornness for the last 3 years, despite numerous promises to clean it up.

I really am looking forward to see if McCarthy will run the ball this week, cause if Rodgers misses the game with a concussion, the passing game is fucked.

On a side note, Finley is out 3-6 weeks. Donald Lee is out 2-3 weeks. The only positive at TE is that Quarless looked pretty good I thought. May have ourselves another good one at TE. Derrick Martin looks like he may be out for a few weeks or possibly the season. That will be a hit to our already shitty special teams. Hopefully we wont miss him as a safety but we are already thin.

I'm just interested to see if McCarthy in all his stubbornness is going to adjust his game plan at all. What will it take for him to adjust his game plan. He has shown no ability to to this point. If losing Rodgers doesn't do it, nothing will. I can honestly see him going out there with Flynn and throwing it 50+ times which will likely wind up in disaster.
