I'm not really sure what to think about this game. I feel like we're a better team overall than Philadelphia, but factoring in the injury to Vince Young and our mediocre play at LP Field and I could see us losing this. DeSean Jackson is out though, which helps us out a good bit.

I believe this game is going to come down to whether if Young can play or not. Fisher said he could, even with some missed practices, so that's a good sign, but part of me wants him to rest his knee and get ready for a bigger game next week against San Diego. (No offense Philly fans, but the Chargers have had our number lately and I'm more afraid of that game than this one; besides we own the NFC.)

Collins can win this game for us, but CJ won't have a good game if Kerry is in there. Same way with Britt and the deep ball is taken out of gameplan with Collins in there, but he's still pretty precise with his short to intermediate passing game.

Our defensive line should cause havoc once again and I'm glad they get to play Kolb instead of Vick, just because of the mobility factor. I'm really interested to see if we match up Alterraun Verner with Jeremy Maclin during the game because Maclin's got wheels and that's Verner's only notable weakness really.

I'll make two predictions:

Titans (with VY) 27
Eagles 20

Eagles 21
Titans (with Collins) 20

No, you shouldn't have. Our #1 red zone defense did its job and forced that fumble on McCoy, completely changing the game.

Not to mention, you couldn't cover Kenny Britt if your life depended on it.

Yeah, the Titans did their job since the Eagles OL decided to not block on the McCoy fumble, they had controlled the game up until that point.

And that's why we have the #1 red zone defense, because we make plays like that to keep the opponent off the scoreboard. Jones shot the right gap and your offensive line didn't block, like you said. It's not a fluke play or anything, it's what our defensive line does.

The Eagles have a nice team though and should compete for the NFC East title the entire season. Did Brandon Graham play today? I didn't notice him.

I will give Jones the penetration and causing the fumble, but McCoy should have made sure the ball was protected before looking up field.

The bigger issue here is and the known problem is that Kevin Kolb can't throw the ball deep worth shit. Last week was nice, because after 3 end arounds, the deep throw was going to be there.

This week you can see his problems, the first pick on his attempt to hit Maclin was so awful, the ball was 5 or 6 yards into the middle of the field from Maclin was.

Now you can bring up "well he hit riley cooper" Well that was a play made by the WR, even on that play Kolb's accuracy was WAAAY off. He pretty much threw at the defender, Riley just made an incredible play on the ball to catch.

When you have a defense like the Titans against whom you can't stretch the field with accurate deep throws, you will never beat that defense. Because the rest of the time you will try to move the ball up the field with dink and dunk, and they will just sit in the zone and have everything covered. Hence you get three straight 3 & outs in the 4th qtr by the Eagles Offense.

I didn't think we would win against the Titans, so I am not totally dissapointed. These problems are gonna plague us the rest of the year UNLESS Vick stays healthy.
