The Knicks snapped their season long nine game losing streak by defeating the Los Angeles Clippers 101-96. The win didn't come easy as NY almost squandered a ten point lead with four minutes to go in the fourth. Clutch foul shooting down the stretch bailed them out from a epic collapse. David Lee led New York with 23 points and 17 rebounds. Lee's having a great season currently sitting third among the top NBA rebounders averaging 12.9 rpg.

Knicks Get Back To Losing Ways, Get Clawed By Cats

Yayyyy, it's show time at MSG, but Diaw doesn't play for us​

The Knicks returned to their losing ways falling to the Charlotte Bobcats 103-93. NY was in control of the game until the second half where they got lax on defense and careless with the ball on offense, letting Charlotte take back control of the game. Boris Diaw and Raja Bell gave NY fits all night as they finished with 29 and 25 points respectively. NY wasted one of Larry Hughes better shooting performances in weeks as he finished with 21 points including 5/8 from down town. NY hasn't won two games in a row yet this season. It was also reported that after the game Nate Robinson and head coach Mike D'Antoni got into a shoving match in the locker room. While details on this incident are still sketchy, it's no secret that Robinson has been heated about his dwindling playing time over recent weeks.

Knicks Send Nate Home

It's likely that the unhappy Robinson will ever play for the Knicks again​

This could only happen to the NY Knicks. For the second straight year the organization has sent a disgruntled guard home only this time his name isn't Stephon Marbury. Looking to diffuse a situation that already got violatile after yesterday's loss to the Bobcats, the Knicks informed guard Nate Robinson to not set foot inside the Garden again. Robinson who has continually been vocal about his desire to be traded, got into a shoving match with head coach Mike D'Antoni after yesterday's loss. The two men had to be seperated after D'Antoni screamed in Robinson's face accusing him of dogging it on the court. One Knick who only spoke on the condition of anonymity said, "Although Mike shouldn't have gotten in his face, I can understand his frustration with Nate. He was out there jacking up shots, and breaking our offensive sets. He wasn't bothering to play any defense either and I guess coach just got tired of it."

While Robinson wasn't available for comment, D'Antoni had this to say: "While I regret what happened between us, this decision is probably best for Nate and the team. I want players who are committed to us trying to build something here and while it has been a really difficult season, we can't give up. As evidenced by his 11 point ratings drop and heated morale, Nate's heart is not into playing for the New York Knicks anymore." While GM Walsh has been mum on any potential trades for Robinson there have been reportedly several teams who have inquired about the diminutive guard including the New Jersey Nets. Robinson will remain on the Knicks roster as there are no plans at the moment to sign another guard. Robinson will also continue to draw his paycheck.

Rose, Bulls Slip Past Knicks

Rose got to the hoop anytime he wanted​

Give the Knicks credit. Unlike last time they played the Bulls last week and got drilled, they at least put up a fight this time. Derrick Rose was too much to handle though, fouling out Chris Duhon and Tony Douglas as the Bulls escaped with the 112-110 win. Rose led all scorers with 39 points while handing out 12 assists. Rose pretty much abused anyone the Knicks put on him, but their point guards got handled the worse. The Bulls had a huge 4th quarter scoring 38 points in the period which sealed the Knicks fate. Wilson Chandler led NY with 29 points in the loss.

Santa Shits On Knicks, Leaves A Stocking Filled With Coal As Heat Endure In Wildest Game Of NBA Season

D-Wade accentuates the Heats wild win in overtime​

It was Christmas day but Santa Claus and the Heat weren't in a giving mood toward the Knicks. In the wildest game of the NBA season, the Heat outlasted NY 152-144 in overtime. In a game that was back and forth all game, the Knicks finally ran out of gas in overtime as the Heat ran away with the game. After Dwayne Wade hit two free throws to give the Heat a three point lead with six seconds left in the 4th quarter, the Knicks called timeout to draw up a play for Al Harrington. Unable to get the ball to him Larry Hughes had to force up a three which missed but he was fouled. Hughes calmly sank the three free throws to force the extra session. The Knicks luck ran out in OT as Harrington fouled out, and their offense stalled. NY wasted monster games from Harrington, Chandler and Hughes who finished with 37, 35 and 33 points respectively. Wade and Michael Beasley who were forces all game long finished with 34 and 33 points. What a wild ass game this was.

Knicks Choke On 11 Point Lead In Last 4 Mins, Fall To Spurs On Mason's GW Shot

Mason hits wide open game winning shot as Larry Fucking Hughes inexplicably sufferS a defensive brain lock​

Leave it to NY to find a different way to lose. Last night against the Spurs they coughed up and 11 point lead in the final four minutes and lost 102-100. Maybe NY relaxed thinking the game was over, because they became careless with the ball committing five straight turnovers and the Spurs capitalized. After Tim Duncan deflected an inbounds pass, Tony Parker scooped it up and layed it in and the Spurs had a three point lead with 10 seconds left. On the next Knicks possession forced to shot a three Duhon had to force one up over two Spurs. The shit went in, the game is tied at 100 with 4 seconds left, Spurs call a timeout. They inbound to Parker, inexplicably Larry fucking Hughes also slides over to guard Parker who was behind the three point line. Keep in mind Duhon was already on him. That left Roger Mason WIDE OPEN and he happily pops the 17 footer with .03 left. Ball game. NY wasted a 37 point, 10 rebound performance from Wilson Chandler and the fans once again were sent home crying after being so close to tasting victory.

Another big game from Al Harrington and another loss for the Knicks. This time NY dropped a 115-105 decision to the Detroit Pistons as both Richard Hamilton and Ben Gordon flamed away from the outside, Rip who finished with 37 points was complimented by Gordon's 30. Harrington dropped a career high 42 for the Knicks as his audition for some other team next year continues. GM Walsh has said he would love to sign Harrington to a contract extension but his agent wants his client to test the 2010 free agent waters. With the way Harrington has played this year, he seems in line to get a fat contract from somewhere. David Lee led all rebounders with 22.

The two previous times the Knicks played the Nets they came up empty. And in both games the Nets were without the injured Devin Harris. Harris is back now and he showed the Knicks what they were missing by putting on a dominating performance with 35 points and 9 assists in the Nets 113-106 victory. Harris who was coming off a career high 53 point performance stayed hot against the Knicks, giving them fits by repeatedly getting into the lane. The game was close for three quarters until New Jersey blitzed NY with a 37 point 4th. Al Harrington led the Knicks with 28 points, while Danilo Gallinari had his best game of the season finishing with 24.

Knicks Start New Year On High Note, Ground Hawks

The one constant in the Knicks season, Mr. Harrington​

Al Harrington led a balanced Knicks attack with 23 points and 12 rebounds as NY finally picked up their 7th win, defeating the Atlanta Hawks 111-104. Even the seldom used Eddy Curry got into the act, scoring 8 points on 4/5 shooting. Jamal Crawford who's been a major thorn in the side of his ex-mates, led the Hawks with 30 points.

For the first time all season, the KNicks have finally put together a winning streak. They picked up their second win in a row defeating the Indian Pacers 110-97. Larry Hughes was the star this time, dropping 24 points including 5 of 8 from downtown. Hughes has been on a mini tear as of late hitting from three. Al Harrington had himself another great game and led NY with 32 points and 9 rebounds. Donnie Walsh better find a way to resign this guy!
