This my first time entering this thread but I'm real surprised so many people picked the Nuggets in 7. If the Nuggets were going to win this series it would've had to be in 6 games. No way Nuggets were winning a game 7 at Staples.
Nuggets are a good team I don't agree with the whole they're gonna be dangerous in the future thing though. West is tough. George Karl is ass. Billups is old. And JR Smith doesn't have the right mentality to ever reach his full potential.

Depends on what the Nuggets do. I know first hand about bandwagon fans. I know people who can't tell me who was on the Cavaliers prior to 03, not named Ilgauskus. Didn't mean Laker fans in general, guess I should of just put Stevsta
If you give them one or two more puzzle pieces they might find something that works. JR Smith can be traded and they wouldn't lose much, they'd gain more than they'd lose anyways, I agree his mentality isn't there to be the all-star player he's capable of being.
Billups is getting older, but he's experienced. He was running well throughout the year and throughout the playoff. I don't think that Chauncey is done, just yet. Time will tell, yeah he's in the twilight of his career, he's got a few good miles left.
George Karl as ass? Can't agree there, man has over 900 wins in his coaching career. He's a good coach that just got stuck with sub-par teams. The Sonics were a great team in the 90's, just so happened they played the Bulls. Then they got beat by Denver in the first ever 8 seed beating a 1 seed. He's more a victim of bad luck vs. bad coach.

Karl is a bad coach. The Sonics were the premier team of the west for so long. Yet they never did anything with it. 69 wins and they lose in the first round. Only once did they make the finals. Here's a breakdown of a George Karl coached game...
1.) Do NOT have a play for sideline out-of-bounds and make an awful
turnover that dooms your team. (Tom Friend did a Billups piece for us
three weeks ago, and Billups couldn't believe that Denver didn't have
out-of-bounds plays for crunch time.) Special props to Billups for
loafing to the ball. GP, in his prime, never did it better.
2.) Burn all your timeouts for the final 20 seconds. (This is now
officially called pulling a Del Negro.)
3.) Have a player (Martin) stupidly foul Kobe 18 feet from the hole
with the score tied (this was always a Kemp or McKey special).
4.) Control and lead the whole game until steps 1, 2 and 3 cause you
to lose a game you never should've lost.
