You serious? Bears lost to the Lions on Monday night when both teams were healthy last year. The Lions lost Best and about a month later the Bears worked them hard in Chicago. Go back to watching the Packers and stfu.

This has nothing to do with what you said. Lions beat the Bears when they were both healthy. They didn't when they didn't have Best. Oh, and btw, Best helped that team to 5-0 and was hurt the majority of the rest of the season. Coincidence?

The Lions saved themselves from just another disappointing year, like this year, by starting hot early and a crazy amount of important injuries to the Bears. One game does not disprove that. Either you admit the Vikings and Titans are obviously better this year(which they are not), or your argument is garbage(which it is).

Jahvid Best clearly deserved MVP last year since he was so important like you've stated. The Lions have been one of the worst teams in the league since their first loss and continue to show it this year. The Lions had the better streak, and the Bears were the better team.

He helped keep the pass defense honest. Without him, it was a mix of crap in the backfield. He couldn't be the MVP because the Lions are "oh so terrible!".

Thank God for free agency because before Reggie White, the Packers had a long drought of being fucking awful. Unless you think Keith Woodside and Chris Jacke belong in the Hall of Fame. You must also be pissed because two of your heroes, Farve and Holmgren, went out like a couple of bitches. Favre getting "hurt" or just replaced by some dude whose name I can't remember and Holmgren making an even bigger joke out of a joke of a franchise.

:rofl: arguing for this lions team. Smith, Bell, and Leshoure when he's played have been decent enough in the running game this year to make up for Best being out. Bests ONLY good rushing game was against the Bears, so using his absence as a reason for the Lions being a bad team doesn't make any sense. He was more of a receiving threat out of the backfield than anything else. He never had more than 80 yards rushing in any other game ever.

The fact is teams figured out if you take away Staffords ability to chuck it up to CJ then he's a mediocre QB at best. The Lions can't run, don't throw very well, don't stop the run, and only stop the pass if they get a pass rush. They aren't a good team and only made the playoffs last year because BOTH of the star players on the bears offense missed the end of last season.

Nice counter argument. There is no argument that says that without a running back that can break a big run, the passing game isn't as dangerous. It's evident in the fact that he played 6 games last year and they haven't been the same since. If you would've understood that the first time, I wouldn't have had to waste my time.
