[ALL] Which of these features will next generation consoles have?

I hate to say it, but it's going to be 3D. An entirely useless technology shoved in our faces because the suits feel this is what consumers want.

I would love to see 1080p and 60 fps on all games.

I do see discs going the way of the dodo bird...however, nextgen, it'll be a mere option, not the rule.

EA is already selling their games early via digital download...we are not that far off from full digital downloads for all games...digital downloads for demos have already been around for ages (who buys demo disc anymore?). We are creeping very close to digital downloads of full games...I wouldn't be shocked if they tried it on this generation of systems in the very near future for a major title.

It won't put retailers out of business...but it'll put a dent into their profits. You probably won't be seeing Gamestops at every corner like you do now. Probably won't go the way of Blockbuster, but its close. Do you see many retail music stores these days? There are a few, but they are few and far inbetween. Companies can so easily do away with the middle men and sell online or digital versions and make more money in the process.

If it were to go the way of digital downloads, what I bet stores would start doing is selling the download cards for games with codes on them, just like they do for say Xbox Live or Microsoft Points. There's still a lot of people who either don't have credit cards or just wont put them into their game console profile.
