Dictated rematches = bad. I don't recall a dicated rematch in the BCS that ever consisting of "clearly" the two best teams. It's impossible to evaluate the hypothetical because we have no idea who or how the 3rd place team is or how they got to where they are....and on down the line.

Because of the one we have seen it was shitty because there were other clearly qualified team(s). At least we are dealing from the context of reality where as you are dealing from some odd hypothetical that we have no details on.
