No need for a poll, I'm sure this question will come up all season.

Not knocking RG3, I think he's amazing ... but all those people who wrote off Luck vs. RG3 based on RG3's first six games seem kinda premature now.

All those people were morons. Everyone with a brain knows Luck is as legit as they come. Best rookie QB I've ever seen, granted that only dates back to like 1995, and 9 year old Len B wasn't really good at recognizing talent then.

I honestly don't know, Empire. I like RG3, but I thought this crowning him as the next greatest QB of all time seemed kind pre-mature. And ESPN's true QBR ratings kinda agreed.

Griffin would be doing pretty good if he had a resurgent Reggie Wayne catching his passes. Luck and RG III are both special talents and I think it is too early to make a judgement on who will have the better career.

I didn't know people fell off of the Luck bandwagon. RG3 is a good player who will be a great player, but the Skins seem to be scared to expose him to too much. I think he has the mental makeup to handle everything they could throw at him, so they need to just throw it at him now, so that next year he can take another step forward.

i didnt expect luck to have his team at 5-3. he has played great this year and seems to be improving as he goes.

Both are gonna be great. RG3 has the flashier numbers but Luck is quietly being one of the most efficient scramblers, and he's winning. Last year the Colts won what 2 games? Luck already has them at 5-3 and in the playoff race

Reggie Wayne never went anywhere, He just had Curtis Painter as a Quarterback. Wayne and Garcon were the best players for Indianapolis last year. (Garcon was the better of the two because of his ability to make his own plays)

This statement bothers me slightly because I know how little talent Indianapolis has right now outside of Reggie Wayne. Andrew Luck is throwing to Dwayne Allen, TY Hilton, Donnie Avery, Lavon Brazill, and countless other no names (3 of those guys are rookies). He has very little help with the rushing game, because Indianapolis does not have a legitimate runningback or an offensive line that can get enough push to give the impression that Indianapolis has a legitimate rb.

The opposite is true for the most part in Washington.

Reggie has been huge for Indy this year but Andrew Luck is winning these games.

Colts WRs aren't dropping 10 passes in one game and their line doesn't fall down the moment the ball is hiked. LOL @ the Redskins offensive line helping our running game at all. Alfred Morris is the reason our running game is solid. You plug any of our other backs in there and they average 2-3 yards a carry at most. Alfred Morris is just a big ass nigga who doesn't like being on his knees.

RG3 literally has nobody to throw too. Santana Moss is only just now starting to come back. He had a good week last week and completely disappeared this week. Pierre Garcon has yet to play a full game for the skins, in fact I think he's only appeared in two or three. Our next best receivers are Leanord Hankerson and Josh Morgan. Hankerson is a converted TE. From our game yesterday, we had one legitimate WR with more than 1 catch, Josh Morgan. I would take the Colts WR corps any day over the Skins. Yet despite this, RG3 is still playing better than Andrew Luck throughout the entire season (outside of this week) Andrew Luck is averaging a pick a game and has thrown 8 already this season. How has RG3 done? Only had a 70% completion percentage through the first half of the season combined with just 3 picks. Let's also not forget RG3 has thrown just 2 less touchdowns and 450 less yards. Don't know who said it, don't really care but Andrew Luck becoming an efficient scrambling QB? RG3 has 5x as many rushing yards with 2x as many rushing TDs. If you look at RG3's season stats next to Andrew Luck, you're going to pick RG3 10/10 times.

Let's also not forget it's a little bit hard to win football games as a QB when your constantly playing from behind since your defense gives up an average of 28+ points and your pass defense is 3rd worst in the league. Without any injuries I would easily take the skins defense over the colts. However, right now at this point in the season, the Colts defense is playing 2-3 times better than the skins.


Now I'm not saying Luck is a bad QB or is a bust but at the end of the day, RG3 is the better QB of the two. He's got more versatility. You put RG3 on the Colts and they might only have 1 loss right now. You put Andrew Luck on the skins and were sitting at 1-8 and Luck probably would be in double digits in interceptions.

Give RG3 a top talent WR and then analyze. Luck is superior in the end I think, but he's got a better setup regardless. RG3 won't die off like Newton though. He can actually throw.
