Really? One good game and all of the sudden everyone coming out of the woodwork "I knew all along he was better than RG3 blah blah blah." Let's not forget the teams they have around them and the season stats they've already put up.

Colts WRs aren't dropping 10 passes in one game and their line doesn't fall down the moment the ball is hiked. LOL @ the Redskins offensive line helping our running game at all. Alfred Morris is the reason our running game is solid. You plug any of our other backs in there and they average 2-3 yards a carry at most. Alfred Morris is just a big ass nigga who doesn't like being on his knees.

RG3 literally has nobody to throw too. Santana Moss is only just now starting to come back. He had a good week last week and completely disappeared this week. Pierre Garcon has yet to play a full game for the skins, in fact I think he's only appeared in two or three. Our next best receivers are Leanord Hankerson and Josh Morgan. Hankerson is a converted TE. From our game yesterday, we had one legitimate WR with more than 1 catch, Josh Morgan. I would take the Colts WR corps any day over the Skins. Yet despite this, RG3 is still playing better than Andrew Luck throughout the entire season (outside of this week) Andrew Luck is averaging a pick a game and has thrown 8 already this season. How has RG3 done? Only had a 70% completion percentage through the first half of the season combined with just 3 picks. Let's also not forget RG3 has thrown just 2 less touchdowns and 450 less yards. Don't know who said it, don't really care but Andrew Luck becoming an efficient scrambling QB? RG3 has 5x as many rushing yards with 2x as many rushing TDs. If you look at RG3's season stats next to Andrew Luck, you're going to pick RG3 10/10 times.

Which of these QBs would you rather have on your team?

Let's also not forget it's a little bit hard to win football games as a QB when your constantly playing from behind since your defense gives up an average of 28+ points and your pass defense is 3rd worst in the league. Without any injuries I would easily take the skins defense over the colts. However, right now at this point in the season, the Colts defense is playing 2-3 times better than the skins.


Now I'm not saying Luck is a bad QB or is a bust but at the end of the day, RG3 is the better QB of the two. He's got more versatility. You put RG3 on the Colts and they might only have 1 loss right now. You put Andrew Luck on the skins and were sitting at 1-8 and Luck probably would be in double digits in interceptions.

I don't want to come across as being anti RG3, because he has been one of my favorite players long before he became a Redskin, but you can't honestly compare RG3 and Luck's numbers and say, "who would you rather have?" That is just a horrible way to do it, because RG3's numbers are what they are because he isn't asked to make the throws that Luck is asked to make. Luck's playbook is larger and so is his responsibility. Don't get me wrong RG3 is far from being a caretaker of the offense, but much of his "70%" completion percentage is due to the fact that he isn't asked to throw the ball down the field a lot.

I'll still take RGIII, but I can't believe that people wrote off Luck. RGIII was the one that everyone was writing off as a bust, so I don't understand that one. I thought they both would be superior players, with the edge going to RGIII, but both are living up to their billing.

I just wish that Pierre Garcon and Fred Davis were healthy. Without them, Santana Moss has disappeared as the Redskins have asked him to do more, and now every other team knows to double Moss and there is a high chance that any other Redskins receiver could drop a pass. The receiving corps went from dramatically improved over the off-season, at least in my mind, right back to where we were last season.

In this rivalry, I'll take Luck .. but I gotta wonder about his priorities. It's ok to check down every so often. Hell, Tom Brady makes a living throwing 5-yard passes. Couldn't Luck compromise every so often?
