Who Will Win the NFC East?

Last thread generated a good amount of discussion...fuck it, let's do all of the divisions.

The Cowboys are not included in this poll since they are four games out of first place with five left to play. It would take an act of God to give them the division lead. So, here's the teams still in contention:


Philadelphia Eagles (7-4)

New York Giants (7-4)

vs. Washington (5-6)

Washington Redskins (5-6)

vs. Tampa Bay (7-4)
@ Dallas (3-8)
@ Jacksonville (6-5)

Well the Redskins are screwed, as four of their last five games are against teams who currently have winning records. I could believe 2 or 3 wins in there if they get lucky, but that won't be enough to win this division. So it comes down to Philly and New York. I see both teams coming into their epic week 15 clash at 9-4, so that will definitely be a telling game. I'm going with Philadelphia, because of their easier schedule. Even if they were to split their season series with the Giants, New York could easily finish off the season with back-to-back losses on the road against Green Bay and Washington, and hand Philly the division.

I have to vote for my Eagles, but I really do think they'll win the division, but I don't think they'll make it much further than that this year.

I like the Eagles chances winning that division. I don't trust the Giants right now with all the injuries.

I'll vote for the Giants, obviously...

But it will be extremely difficult. Their offense is collectively banged up similar to last year's defense (shudders). No idea whether Nicks will be back and if he is, it may be for the final week or two. Smith should be back in a week or two and hopefully his pec holds up. The OLine is a mash unit, too.

The Eagles clearly have the easier schedule down the stretch and obviously, the Giants MUST win the rematch.

Besides that game, the key to the division will be the two games Philly has with Dallas and the Giants trip to Green Bay.

Dallas will love playing spoiler to Philly...meanwhile the Giants will play a potential division winner on the road.

Ugh, I never trust the Giants in Minnesota, either.

Gonna be an exciting stretch of games nevertheless.

Have to go with the Eagles. I see them going 4-1 in their last 5 games. Giants go 3-2 or 2-3 and miss the wildcard. Redskins have McGarbage at QB so they have no chance.

Being on the road may work out to our advantage.....Eli tends to play like shit at home in the cold weather....Green Bay will be cold but he already proved he can win there circa the 07 playoffs.....

The Eagles will falter down the stretch......them having to play the Cowboys twice is going to work out in our favor.....Boys will at least beat them once and I wouldn't be surprised if they swept them......Garrett has them boys playing and he knows they have to perform well for him to have a chance to remain the coach

Also the Giants exposed Vick with their defensive game plan in the last meeting with the Iggles......bring heat from the left side and make him roll right.....he rarely if ever throws the ball and looks to run.....don't think the other teams in the league didn't notice that
