I am all about the inconsistent talk because we have displayed that in the past. This feels like a completely different team to me. The defense is somewhat reminiscent of the 2006 team, and our offense is slightly better then that team. Just depends what Cutler shows up to the game. He played the best game of the season last week against the hottest team in the NFL.

Saying the team that just beat the hottest team in the NFL "sucks" and slowed down the most explosive offense of the season, is just stupid. Hate the Bears if you want, but at least recognize that fact.

Outside of Jay Cutler's game vs Washington and the offensive line vs New York...this team has flat out impressed me. Especially when most Bear fans though 8-9 wins would be the most we would get. We're sitting at 8-3 with 5 left. Also there is nothing indicating to me that if Cutler doesn't get hurt in the 1st half of that game, we can't win the game with him in the 2nd half. Sure our o-line sucked but I expected Tice to make adjustments like he did vs Dallas and then we dicked them the rest of the game. I only say this because NYG's offense wasn't really mustering up anything worthwhile either. Had they put more points on the board I wouldn't say we could have possibly won that game.

Also this "tough stretch" consists of 3 teams that we have already beaten. I am not saying we'll go 3-0 and sweep them..however usually you should favor the team that already won. The only game I am honestly on the fence about is New England. Being 3-0 vs the division teams already I shouldn't feel uneasy against those. The Jets have been pulling wins out at the end of the game, not worried about them. New England is good...and they can (and probably will) beat us.

The offense this year isn't better than in 2006. The running game this year isn't as good as while Cutler is a betetr QB the offensive line is much worse the WR's aren't as good.
At best it's a toss up.

Honestly this team is 8-3 and if they finish 8-8 I wouldn't be shocked.

This team has trouble blocking people. One of the most basica and important aspects of the game.

I think the Bears finish 10-6 and get in as a wild card.

We will beat the Jets, lose to New England and the other three games are places we typically always play like shit regardless of how good we are. I think we go 1-2 in those games.

I haven't been a believer in this team all year. I pray to God they keep proving me wrong but I'm not going to act like I expect it

FT, I still believe GB will/can win the division, but part of that is just being a fan. I didn't take ChiBears seriously until the Eagles game. We have to give the Bears props after that big win. Right now, the division is theirs (the Bears).

No matter who takes the division, I'm proud of the way GB has played with there 13 guys on IR and others injured.

If Todd Collins doesn't play vs NYG or CAR, I think the passing numbers are heavily skewed thanks to his play. I don't think we sniff the same rankings considering our shitty o-line.

However I attribute this "argument" to a lack of me not defining what I meant. 2006 rushing attack blew ours out of the water. I was trying to get across the following...

2010 Jay Cutler > 2006 Rex Grossman.

The Falcons do :shifty:, and according to google, so do the Cardinals. Probably just the teams with fewer banners to hang.

As for the NFC North, I think the Bears end up winning just because they have a game advantage and the Packers have so many injuries. I don't like either team much in the playoffs because neither can run the ball well in the red zone.

Cutler is bound to force a ball into quintuple coverage in the back of the end zone to lose in the first round.

I think the schedule favors the Packers, especially since they play the Bears the last week of the year at home and the Bears still have the the Jets to play.
