Who would YOU vote National Champions?

A bit of controversey this year...USC as always very impressive...but an undefeated Utah team beat the one team that beat USC...Texas beat Oklahahoma, who didn't get beat too badly by Florida...who do you believe should own the title?

I picked Utah...okay they don't play in the big 12 or SEC...who cares....they didnt have a cakewalk schedule by any means, and they lined up every week and beat every team they played. I was leaning towards USC...i mean how can you argue that what an incredible team...but they had one loss to Oregon State, a team which Utah beat on their way to an undefeated season. I personally don't think Florida beat the team that DESERVED the Big 12 title...and they lost to a weak team in Ole Miss...granted Ole Miss seemed to pull out huge upsets this year, they just werent an incredible or even consistent team. It seems to be the wrong year for Utah to go undefeated, but they beat a team that was undefeated right up until Florida beat them...Alabam was a powerhouse all year...maybe Florida's win made the crimson tide doubt themselves, but Utah went out with something to prove and handed one of the top 2 SEC teams their own asses. What's your take?

USC lost to Oregon State. And played in a weak Pac 10 conference.

The Pac 10 only looks weak because USC dominates it every year. Wait till a team like Cal or UCLA starts to recruit well again.

Thats the truth, that one loss to Florida woke them up and let them play some of their best ball. I think Florida is better than every team in the country right now, but I would love for Utah and Florida play for the National Title now.

But Utah doesn't play an SEC schedule. Which means they don't play the best of the best week after week. And Florida beat 6 ranked teams. LSU #4 when they played, UGA #6, South Carolina #25, FSU #20, Alabama #1, Oklahoma #1. So I guess Utah could go through the SEC schedule and still go undefeated? No way. BYU is a good team? They got beat by Arizona. So they beat 2 good teams. Out of the 3 ranked teams they played.

if youre saying byu isnt a good team because they lost to zona then youre an idiot

that takes out south carolina (lost to vandy and clemson)
also takes out lsu (lost to fucking arkansas)
georgia too (lost to georgia tech, also lost to bama who got creamed by utah)
fsu? youre calling them tough (lost to wake forest georgia tech and bc)
takes out bama (lost to utah)

in other words, youre own way of saying how teams are good nails you in the butt

im pretty sure the fact was that utah beat 4 teams that are currently ranked, not when they played them

hell, michigan was ranked in the top 10 when app. state beat them

id like to hear how byu wouldnt beat south carolina or fsu, this is a team who played in the MWC who did extremely well this year, only lost to tcu, utah, and zona

why does it amaze you to think that utah should of gotten the national championship trophy? that does not make any sense at all

weve already determined that "week after week" florida DID NOT play good teams all of the time.........ill give you georgia, bama, oklahoma and maybe lsu...........do not go around saying that they played good teams every week

utah killed the other top team in the SEC, why not have a chance at florida?
