im a fan of him yeah, but i think he is overall better than ray, ray can shoot his ass off but manu can shoot the three pretty well one of the best finishers out there, can pass pretty well and sets up his teammates nicely, and is pretty good at defense (flopping aside) he is pest on defense and gets his hands on the ball alot

It pains me to say because Ray Ray is one of my faves of all time and im not overly fond of Manu.. but Manu is the more complete player. Ray's a more dangerous scorer and possibly the greatest 3-ball shooter of all-time.. but Manu has a more rounded game.

Yeh, some people actually do watch 1 game a year, and then base their opinion of that players entire career on that 1 game.

I believe it has a lot to do with people depending on SportsCenter way too much.

game 1: 26-9 reb

game 2: 27-7assist

game 6: 21-10reb-3assist

game 7: 23-5-4

and in game 4 in the 2007 finals to sweep the cavs he dropped 27

thats far from piggybacking for rings


and as far as stats go ray has been averaging 37 min pg over his career

and manu has been averaging 27 min pg

so with manu having starters minutes he could have just the same or better stats than ray allen

well www.82games.com says if manu played minutes like that he would be averaging 25 pg 8reb 6 assist

oh give me a break we all know a team led by Ginobili wouldn't even sniff the Finals let alone win a ring Dwight. He piggybacked off of Duncan and Parkers success and is a good player, but not a stud.

To be quite honest, i think comparing the two players is far fetched. They both have different roles on different style teams and have different style games. This is like comparing Chris Johnson to Brandon Jacobs. Whose to say one is better when they both play the game differently and get the same results.
