As great as Eli has been this year, our offense tends to disappear at times.....in the Dallas game, it was nonexistent in the 2nd half until Eli's heave to Cruz......that ignited the offense out of the doldrums

That can be a recipe for disaster against the Falcons who are a much more rounded ball club than the Cowboys

Ryan is 16-16 on the road in his career, 10-6 in the last two years.
His record against teams that made the playoffs that year is someting like 6-6.

Could definitely go either way but I think this week Ryan steps up to the mark and gets a playoff win.

THIS 100%....here is a clear headed giants fan. IMO Falcons have a better team all around but we are playing at home which makes this a bit of a pickem. Giants need to take the lead and force Ryan into passing the ball more than Turner running.

What would really be nice if we could get a running game going and take some pressure off Eli.

Falcons NEED to run the ball. Michael Turner quietly rushed for 1300 yards, 3rd in the league right behind Ray Rice.

I say if Turner gets over 100 the Falcons will win. If not, I think the Giants will.

What's the story on the Falcons secondary?

Dunta's side is pretty weak, Nicks could have a good game. I think Grimes will do a decent job vs Cruz. If the Giants watch their film right, they'll use Cruz in the slot vs Chris Owens/Dominique Franks (They aren't so good). I hope Owens steps up to the plate and brings his A game. He got roasted by Rodgers in the playoffs last year.

What's the story on the Falcons secondary?

Grimes has been out for quite awhile, he played against the Saints the other week where he had some nice plays but we rested him last week. Dunta is Dunta and has lapses in coverage at times. DeCoud is the same way while William Moore is by far and away our top playmaker in the secondary. All 4 of them are solid tacklers. Dominique Franks has come on as of late at his nickel position since we lost Kelvin Hayden for the year to IR.

They aren't by any means that great, but now that Grimes is back we should be looking a hell of a lot better.
