[Wild Card]: Detroit Lions @ New Orleans Saints

I think it was PFT who mentioned how Stafford went back to throwing to Megatron even when blanket covered in the last 3 games after losing to the Saints. In the last 3 games, CJ had 560 yards and 4 TDs. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Saints blitz happy D exposed a few times by Megatron even if they shift coverage his way. Add in that the Lions will have Suh for this game unlike their matchup earlier and I could see the Lions making it close.

I'm not saying the Lions will win, but I see this game being closer than the 41-30 games people are calling for.

um,no,sorry, its not that clear cut oh fan of a team that may well lose to the Broncos because your QB is still lame etc.

the Saints had a great second qtr in that game but were slow to produce in the second half ...31 - 17 is not a blow out. Its 2 missed opportunities by the losing team, thats not much when you can pass at will now.

I dont think the Saints are that strong like they werent last year as well.
 
I'm sorry, but I don't believe that whole, "This is uncharted territory for the Lions" with the playoffs and shit. These are paid fucking professionals, it's the playoffs, win or you're out. That simple, I don't care if you've been here a 100 times before and you're facing a team that's been there 1 time...they have just a good of a chance to win as you do. This is gonna good a good fucking game that's all I gotta say....but I can't wait to GO OFF when Detroit is the victor after those 60 minutes to EVERYBODY (media & friends) that thought Detroit had NO chance in hell. Listen we may not win the Superbowl, but dammit you better recognize that Detroit is eventually coming for that number 1 spot...bandwagoners and all (fuck all the bandwagoners btw, you can kiss my white ass) this team WILL be a force over this next decade. sorry dude, but experience helps in all things and playing football an extra 2-3-4 weeks takes its toll...the Saints know victory (SB).. and losing to a sucky Seahawks team last year.. experience definitely helps you focus and the Lions dont have that advantage or mindset..hopefully,they arent beat upon heavily and its a tough fought game.
