I'm not sure if you're joking or not, but if you're serious this is an idiotic statement. Albert was paid to do a job. If he doesn't want to perform the responsibilities that his manager has assigned him, then he needs to find another job, and pay back the guaranteed money he's already received.

lol, why would any player pay back guaranteed money. It's guaranteed for a reason. TJ Houshmandzadeh earned 7 million for playing a few preseason snaps. He also can't just 'find a job'. He's under contract with the Redskins. It doesn't matter what he pays back or money he gives them or whatever, he's still under contract. Exactly. Albert has been paid to do a job, and his lazy ass doesn't want to do it. If you're getting paid $100 million dollars, shut up and play. If not, he should pay back the money he made after the first season of his contract and find another team that will make him happy (for far less money, I'm sure.)

Obviously Haynesworth isn't going to pay back the $20 million dollars he made this past offseason. But if he doesn't want to be a "slave" anymore, I'm sure Washington would be happy to part with his lazy ass if he wanted to pay it back, thus releasing him from his "slave" duties. Again, it's not going to happen, but it's not like he doesn't have options if he really feels like he's being treated so badly. The only reason why he's still on the team is because of all the money he's been paid.

And poor baby Hanesworth, how dare Shannahan ask him to do such horrible things, like come in to camp on time and in shape, and play in a defensive scheme that the coach feels gives the team the best chance to win.
