Both teams have good pitching and the Rangers have a great offense.

HOWEVER...

I see the Giants rotation as being more effective over a long series. Can Texas really count on Wilson and Lewis to continue to be effective?
 
I'm going to have to go with the Rangers....they are really hot and just dispatched the two teams that were widely acknowledged as the best in baseball.....I see them winning in 5 games

Yea and they do this thing in baseball thats very important.......hit with RISP. I don't see the Giants keeping up with that offense.
 
Can't wait for this series...after not being excited for Yanks/Phils since they're my two most hated teams in baseball, it'll be nice to watch a good series between two fun teams without having a rooting interest.

Nobody from my area is going to give a shit anymore now that the Phils and Yankees are out, but I am REALLY looking forward to this series now. I've had fun watching these two teams play the past month.
 
I think it all comes down to who wins game one, that team will win the series in 6. I took the Giants. How upset is FOX about the potential ratings for a PHI/NYY series, and now they get a SF/TEX series? It is what I wanted to see, should be good baseball.
 
I think this is gonna be on the best series no one will watch. I'll watch it but i don't see this series getting hyped like a Yankees Phillies series would for obvious reasons.
 
I am stoked for this series and I fully believe that the Giants can win but I think the Rangers are just a more complete team all around.

Win or lose, I really don't care, I just want it look up to the expectations. Looking forward to one helluva series.

No denying that, but the Rangers haven't faced a staff as deep as the Giants and having Molina doesn't hurt them.

But I was just adding that it's really interesting to think about how Molina beat the Giants in 02 with the Angels and then the year the Giants let him go he is once again facing the Giants in the WS. Guy gets a ring either way.
