A)
A Madden game with no glitches, no gimmicks, and no trick plays. The game plays and performs EXACTLY as you would see the situation played out in a real game. The teams make adjustments, the playcalls are team specific and accurate, the crowd is booming with excitement, the franchise mode is incredibly deep and loaded with thousands of different goodies for you to enjoy. Online play rarely lags, and any problem with the game is immediately patched and corrected.
THE CATCH: There is no presentation, there are very few (and usually only one) animation for catches/tackles/etc., the players do not have up-to-date gear (meaning certain players aren't wearing what they wore last Sunday... NOT meaning the equipment is from 1955 lol), the players are all generically the same (the height/weight is different, but the running style/throwing style/etc. is all identical), the sideline is not interactable, the crowd (although very accurate with sound changes and energy) looks very dull and unified.
**NOTE: I understand that if there is only one catch animation, the game wouldn't technically play out "exactly" as you would see it in real life. But just play along, would ya!
OR
B)
A Madden game with FLAWLESS presentation, that looks and feels exactly how it does in real life. ESPN desks, real-life models of commentators, coaches, and players, stadiums and crowds are alive and even your home-town commentator will call your games. Each player is decked out with there EXACT outfit apparel (which is updated weekly), and they all run/throw/catch/etc how their real-life counterpart does. There are literally THOUSANDS of animations for catches and tackles and you hardly ever (if ever) see or hear the same thing twice.
THE CATCH: It has a lot of problems with the gameplay which really effect your gaming experience. Online is simply "play a game" and contains a leaderboard (no stats are ever recorded), franchise mode has nothing more than the schedule and your team's roster (and anything else necessary just to "get by"), and overall the realism of how a game plays out could use a lot of work. The game is never fixed mid-season, you must wait until the release of next year's game to see any gameplay changes.
So what would you rather have?
