Im still starting to get the hang of the control scheme. Its much more fluid but takes a few matches to really get used to.... been using Ziggler a bit he's slowly becoming one of my favorite guys to use outside Morrison, Punk and Brock.

I'm still lost at points attempting to do a suplex and end up running into a breaking point submission. I feel like after another couple days I'll be a seasoned pro. Played a Online Royal Rumble... was fun, some laggy points in the match made it a lil annoying, but out of 12 guys in an online match at a time I don't expect everybody to have a perfect connection, and mine for some reason does lag sometimes too :troll:

DLC looks excellent, there seems to be plenty of old favorites. 99 cents a wrestler really isn't bad. I am considering getting Fan Axxess which includes discounts, all the DLC out now, Everything unlocks. (Which is why I may not get it, I want to unlock everybody on my own)

and for 99 cents (included in Fan Axxess) you get to change every superstars ratings however you want.

I had to check out the tutorial a bit too to see what the hell some of the new shit was (like the new targeting system that seems pretty cool). Although I am wondering how the hell you reverse finishers. Is it still just R2/RB like a regular grapple reversal?

Yeah a well timed R2 will reverse it depending on the situation... we'll def have to get some matches in at some point, I may play tonight for a lil bit after my TGT game IDK depends, Im not very good at the game still learning the shit

I've seen ZERO glitches, online is playable, as a matter of fact you can limit your search to only play against users with full connections

Aka, you can still select what you want to download and install. I feel like I'm close to the end of the villain RTWM... and the WWE '12 writers shit all over the WWE Raw writers, some pretty dam good stuff I was actually shocked at some of the things that happened in RTWM

I just jumped into the deep end of the pool with no knowledge of the control scheme, etc. in the "WWE Universe" mode.

Turns out, I'm not that great at wrestling games as I thought I was... even on normal.

Oddly enough, I clownstomped Steve Austin with the Undertaker when Austin decided to make an appearance.

That and Ax from Demolition (they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for those guys) learned the value of "Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect" from SuperCena.

EDIT: Apparently you can kick doors into other people's domes on "Free Brawl" mode (tee-hee)... I don't remember shit being that violent on TV as of late. :shifty:

Man, this game just sounds like No Mercy to me.....even though I've been out of the wrestling loop since that time, it sounds like I may need to get this game.

Turns out, after a certain hour of the day, my button mashing skills are terrible.

I was playing through the "Villain" portion of the "Road to Wrestlemania" mode... after certain point, it feels like I can do nothing to stop the CPU from kicking my ass.

Also, FUCK whoever decided that it would be a good idea to have objective-based gameplay in a fucking game about pro wrestling.

What you're telling me is no matter what I do, the CPU will kickout of my pins and never tap out; instead I gotta keep playing ONE MATCH out of the 40 or so in this mode, for as long a humanly possible, so I can get a fucking QTE icon to pop up?

Just have me fight up until a certain point and then just smash cut to the scene you want to show me if you're gonna take away my freedom of choice in this game. :suicide:

Everything else is fine other than the really, REALLY bad bugs and glitches the game shipped with (the inhuman body contortions, NPCs clipping though the turnbuckles during tag matches, the lack of CPU Tag Match logic [if you're getting pinned or submitted, NO ONE is going to help you]...).

/not worth the $60 they're asking for.

Addendum: After finally finishing the "Villain" portion of the RTWM Campaign (great ending up until they turn Sheamus from Supervillain to Complete Puss in 2 seconds), I see I get to be HHH.

That's not too bad up until I consistantly get countered by the CPU at every turn on Normal.

On top of that, the game feels like it refuses to register when I hit the reversal button when it asks me to.

What's to point of playing the game that already puts me in shitty situations (Money in the Bank against 5 dudes that won't even fight each other but all kick my ass? Fuck you THQ) if I'm not allowed to have the option to block shit when I want to?

LOL I'm stuck at MitB too man... you start with sig you gotta run up drop a spinebuster get thrown out run in high knee 2-3 of them knock the others off later rinse repeat... I still haven't been successful with it tho

Any running move I do gets reversed, every grapple gets reversed (in which case I have to reverse said reverse TWO times to get a light punch to hit) and damned if I can do anything.

I honestly had to turn that shit off before I broke my controller.

Just picked this up the other night for 360 because a buddy of mine played through it and said it was pretty good.

I got it too. Its pretty coo. I knew I'd never play through the story mode so I bought all the unlocks for 99 cents lol.

I bought it as well, and it is probably the best wrestling game in my mind since No Mercy, which is still one of my favorite games of all times.

Wrestling stories are all hit or miss regardless, and I've heard reviews saying that WWE12's story blows, to people wishing that the game writers took over for the actual writers for the shows. So far, I've found the story to be pretty damn good, and I loved the whole United Kingdom angle from the Villain storyline.

The game is definitely difficult even on normal, so as a casual fan I turned it down to easy for the story. This isn't a game I planned on taking seriously, and just wanted to have fun, and so far that is what I'm getting out of it.
