Interested about the cable service they were talking about. Haven't had cable in over a year so it might be time to jump on that feature.

All I know is that I probably won't be getting this until Christmas 2015. Get the huge bugs out, avoid the launch lineup crap, let the developers learn how to use the system to its potential.

2 lessons I learned this gen: PS3 was way too complicated for developers for way too long, and the RROD almost destroyed the 360's potential. Fix those probable issues ASAP and you'll get more people on board.

Agreed. As much as I love games I'm going to do everything I can to hold off for as long as possible. It also helps that I have a tremendous back log that I want to get through before jumping into the next gen. I don't want to make the same mistake I made last time and have a bunch of Xbox and PS2 games that I never got around to because I jumped in the next gen immediately.

Looks like XBox live is being prepared to use the hardware that will be the XBox 720 (or whatever it is called). Loaded the update and now I can lay on my couch and use the XBox to surf the net. Still can't view video clips via the browser.

Yeah, apparently trying to get flash player on the xbox internet explorer is a lot more complicated than they thought. Meaning they will get around to it eventually mean a year or 2 or just say screw it and just throw that feature with the new xbox. I would think they would do it with the 360 first to test it out before building into the 720 or whatever you want to call it. But who am i kidding, we all want to be able to watch porn on it.

The Internet Explorer app on Xbox seems about as pointless to me as the 3G function on the Vita. Why browse the internet on a console when you could do it 10x easier on the numerous other items that are probably within arms reach (laptop, tablet, phone...).

Well, in my opinion it's just another way of getting people to buy their product.

I don't even know why people refer to it as such. The first Xbox wasn't the 180.

Ive referred to each Xbox and PlayStation as "Xbox" and "PlayStation". I haven't come across any butt hurt nerds who try to correct me by saying I forgot the "3" or "360" To me the name of the console doesn't matter.

Im so utterly bored with this Gen. I have no interest in any game after a few minutes. I seriously hope the next gen consoles kick our asses with horsepower and GFX. I seriously hope they are future proofing with 4k resolution ability.
