Anyone watch the Kinect video on Live? LOL at all of the "optimal settings" they require you to have. Even lighting throughout the room. Standing 6-feet away.

i am not impressed with any of the "new" integrations they have done. Everything looks pretty much the same. The only things i see is a new 360 intro and some effects that look like nothing more than a theme for your dash.
The ESPN stuff is extremely generic. IDK if they have a plan for more full length shows or full versions of SC or what, but the stuff on it now is nothing more than the 2 mins videos that we can view on espn.com.....you know, the ones you usually turn off your speakers so you dont have to hear their spam
BTW....can someone tell me what the difference is between zune and video market place? these 2 things seem to have the exact same content

I literally said this would happen when ESPN was announced. I said it will probably be ESPN3 and you will get highlight clips of games not on ESPN3. Everyone called me a fanboy for my MS hate and blah blah blah. Looks like I'm right.

actually you can watch live sports just have to have the right ip and hopefully they put full tv-shows like pti and ath on there
from what I understand there is only a slight difference being that in the video market place you can scroll and choose what you want to download (mostly game videos stuff), in zune theres videos, tv shows, etc etc and its where you watch the videos you downloaded

Wrong or right that's how it is around here. You can say negative stuff about Sony and the PS3 all you want and there is never so much as a murmur. But if you say anything remotely derogatory about the almighty MS and the 360 it's hunting season by a few select people.

ESPN3 is the shit. I can watch CFL games, NCAA football/basketball, MLB. Just about everything you get on ESPN3 on the web, at the tv. It's pretty fucking cool. No more sitting at the computer to watch games that I dont get tv coverage for.
As far as everything else. It's just different. Although, the guide navigation(sending messages, going through account management, etc) is a little faster. I wouldn't say it's better/worse than before, at the moment. It's basically just different...
I wish there were more juicy additions, but it's nothing really. Seems like it's basically going to be a makeover, and adding functionality for kinect. ESPN3 is really the only mentionable addition. Not sure that alone justifies the price increase coming with the launch of this new dashboard.

espn3 is great is u like their content. i see nothing of interest on there. plus u cant FF thru the replays. Which is totally stupid.
I watched the WSOP and they showed it in its entirety. I had to sit thru all the pre game announcements for the final table, then watch every pain staking hand of players holding deuce 7 off suit pondering when they were going to fold. Literally nothing but garbage to try and watch. I shut it off after about an hour and saw maybe 2 hands
