Mobb, first off, thanks for picking me up the copy of madden. Was nice to finally meet you in person yesterday. Let me tell you this, I popped in the game for only about 10 mins yesterday, but wow have things changed. My first thought impression is that the graphics are insane. Can actually see the texture of the grass on my new tv, pretty wild. I'm not sure what the default game speed is, but it seemed a bit slow to me. Players momentum seemed very accurate. I went to the practice field and only picked about 7 or 8 plays but i realized very quickly that I forgot pretty much how to do everything on madden. I was trying to hot route guys and put guys in motion and I ended up audibling and changing all kinds of stuff instead. Its going to be a long road back. Looking forward to it though.

I think the default game speed is set to slow. If you bump it up to Normal, that seems to be the popular choice. Online also runs at normal speed, so it will probably be better off to switch.
LOL @ that guy yesterday. If he got a few drinks from our $9, good for him I guess. That was a helluva story he had though with the running out of gas line and kid all the way in Warminster.

I think it's standard protocol now for them to give a bs story about gas and kids. I actually ran into an "honest" bum last night at the market. He told me he wasn't gonna lie and that he wanted money for a beer so I just gave him 2 out of my 12 pack.

Mobb, I practiced again for about 20 mins again last night and I just don't know if i'm going to be able to stick with the default controls. I think I'm going to change a few buttons to match the old school controls. Also, I bumped the difficulty up to all madden and bumped the playing speed up to normal. Normal is defintely the way to go as far as speed, and I will have to keep the difficulty on all madden to practice against even though i'm getting my ass handed to me in practice mode. 3 years off almost makes it seem like I never even played the game before. This is frustrating as hell.
