Mark Sanchez has peaked as a bottom 10 starter calibre quarterback. Why waste a potentially dynamic quarterback to give that dobber another chance to disappoint?

You gotta give MS a break, he's been without Keller, his #1 option for 4 of 6 games. Hasn't had Holmes for the past 2 games and rest of the season, without Stephen Hill for 3 games. Take anyone's top 3 options away and see how they perform...add in a mediocre run game and forget it. Sanchez needs a good run game to suit his strong suits and he hasn't had that. Aside the Buffalo game, this last game he played good and moved the chains and made all the right decisions...and with the assortment of options back with him, he'll do better.

Tebow has been meh on offense, but has excelled on special teams, converting 3 key 4th downs already. He's been very valuable there...on offense they haven't done much...and I do think they need to pass some now out of the plays he gets now.

i think tebow, as a specialist will not work. the wildcat doesnt work anymore and i think he would be wasted that way. If the jets went to tebow and made a commitment to him like denver did, i think tebow could win games and possibly make the playoffs.

but it doesnt matter which guy they use, they cant win in the playoffs with either and neither one is the future. they are NY so they dont need to sell seats...so going to tebow for that reason is dumb. Their best option is what jim leavy posted....suck for geno

But come on. We're talking Tim fucking Tebow. Anyone who could honestly say they would rather have Tebow as their starting QB than Sanchez is kidding themselves. Sure, he can run certain plays, but to be your starting quarterback all year? Yeah...right.

Yep, and they will tell him when they want to put Tebow in. The Jets always seem to make half their moves based off publicity and keeping up with the Giants. At some point, you've got to start him when the Jets' playoff chances are looking remote, but you've got more problems than Tebow/Sanchez if your job is on the line.
