Most disappointing artist/band: Eminem (I overrated Recovery big time though I still think it's okay), Lil' Wayne (kind of a meh pick, since I didn't expect much from him this year, but still), Charles Hamilton (another meh pick, but the way he's dropped off from The Pink Lavalamp really upsets me)

Artist/band that grew on you: Broken Social Scene. I've always liked them, but I've started to love them this year. Good new album too.

Most surprising artist/band: Kid Cudi, i thought he was going a different direction after his first album but he brought it back to his style
Most disappointing artist/band: Lupe because no album still
Artist/band that grew on you: Wiz
Artist/band you can't see the hype about: Drake
Favorite album: How I Got Over
Most surprising album: Kanyes album. I pretty much wrote it off before release
Most disappointing album: Recovery
Favorite song: Dear God by the roots or higher by J. Cole
 
Favorite artist/band: J. Cole/Trey Songz/Kanye/Wale
Most surprising artist/band: Wiz (surprised his music has become so popular, considering every song is about smoking/fucking yo bitch)/ T.I. (That No Mercy is legit)
Most disappointing artist/band: Wayne. I know he was in jail, but I expected more to be released from him since hes been out of jail.
Artist/band that grew on you: Nicki Minaj
Artist/band you can't see the hype about: Young Money
Favorite album: Friday Night Lights/Passion, Pain & Pleasure/#LemmeHoldDatBeat/MBDTF/More About Nothing
Most surprising album: No Mercy - Album is a lot better than I honestly thought it was gunna be. Same goes for Pink Friday as well.
Most disappointing album: Recovery (by a landslide)
Favorite song: The Breeze - Wale/Wiz, Gorgous - Ye/Cudi, Moment 4 Life - Nicki/Drake
