                            Seems like he turned it off due to the asshats in the chat on the side. Oh well, I guess we can check back randomly and see if its on.

                            Also, people on gamefaqs say there is a 3rd person point of view option.

                            This thread is about the JTV guy and apparently they saw him playing in 3rd person. I wasn't watching at the time so I can't confirm it.

                                                Apparently the 3rd person view is in its own game mode. Its going to be 3rd person team death match and 3rd person cage match.

                                                Thats a relief, I don't really care that its in the game, but I just don't want to mix first person and 3rd person. Also, something tells me this might be a test run for future game modes in MW2 and for potentially a 3rd person Infinity Ward game.

                                                        If 3rd person is available online, then I can see how it can be useful. Back in the original Rainbow Six days on the PC, my clan used to practice battles while switching between FPS and 3rd Person views. It helped us a lot, FPS was used to engage someone usually, and 3rd person was used to scout out the terrain around the corner or in the distance.

                                                        If they do provide that in MP, I hope its a quick toggle between the modes. Otherwise it will be a total pain in the ass.
