i just dont see the point to spending $300 on a wheel. and then creating some custom cock pit so i can use it with any form of comfort. I would rather just use the sticks because they provide you with the same result

Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of reading here on the threads and we all like to save a little money don't we? I have an AK Rocker chair retails for 79 bucks at Best Buy and all I need is a brace or wheel stand and possibly something to hold my pedals at an angle. I am looking to spend...

Those Fanatec's are kickass, the brake pedal vibrates when you lock up the wheels  Just a little too much price wise for me.

edit: nvm, the ones that do that aren't compatible with 360

It has been proven on GTPlanet that people with wheels are in a different class of racing times than people on DS3's. They are almost a full second faster on the time trial charts. You have a lot more finesse around turns, and you can pull chicanes a lot smoother, etc.

If you are really bored this guy has a huge writeup on his experiences going from DS3 to G25

Hey guys, I realise there are already a number of threads regarding the difference between using a wheel and a Sixaxis controller for GT5P, but I thought I'd actually post a day by day journal of sorts to document my personal transition between the two very different types of controller. It...

                I had a wheel back when I played GT2....

I thought it was pretty neat to have and honestly when I got into Forza 2 a few years ago I thought about getting a wheel for it. It just makes things better. Hard to explain. Maybe its because I don't really like game controllers all that much.

                Leafs offseason training!

That is the official wheel for Gran Turismo, and there are a lot of people that like it. The G27/25 are just more customizable and have more features, main one being paddle shifters.
