Huge game killer - NCAA 10 Roster Issue

If you took it back because you know something inside EA and you aren't privy to discuss that is something else.

IMO, EA has some SERIOUS EXPLAINING to do. I also believe that absent some fact I am currently not privy to, heads should roll for this big of a mistake.

I'm under NDA, and I"m concerned I overstepped my bounds on that one. All I can really say is that it ain't the roster dude's fault. There was a fuck up higher on the food chain. The rosters are there, they just didn't make the disk for some reason.

I'm assuming it probably has. If so short of delaying release (never going to happen) I'm guessing they have to figure out a patch (once again).

I don't know, but it sounds to me like they could replace the rosters if it weren't for the fact that they'd have to wipe every CaS on TB if they did. They're trying to figure out a solution that'll allow them to not wipe TB. I don't know if they're willing to wipe TB if necessary or not.

i dont understand this problem. Dont most guys use a created roster anyways? does it matter what rosters are shipped with the game? its just player numbers being used as names.....same as always....right?

Wipe Team Builder and putn the correct rosters on the disk..that is what I would do.

The problem is most of the players aren't in the game (allegedly). So instead of just editing names of players, we'd have to create the players as well.. which means online lobby games will be impossible with accurate teams (since you can't use created players in that game mode).

thats what I don't understand. I haven't looked into this game much but what is the new team builder feature that they are blaming the rosters on?

When you download a team from TB, it checks the roster that's being used for that team to set the depth chart. If the downloaded roster doesn't match the default, on-disk roster, there wont be a valid depth chart and the download will fail or the game will crash.

wipe teambuilder then, even though it took me effing forever to make my main team cause they gave us shitty roster editing options, I can redo all that in less time before release, than it will take for roster ppl to fix this post release
