Ever since I put my driver sweetspot at 20%, my game has gone down in flames. LOL

First offline tourney, failed to make the cut, +14 at Pebble Beach.
Get off to a promising start at my next tourney (Torrey Pines) shooting an even par 72. Next round, I burst into flames and shoot a tourney worst 86. Failed to make the cut.

I really should consider changing the sweetspot back, but I find driving very realistic now. You have to think about every drive, when to use irons, etc... Since my sweetspot switch, my driving accuracy went from 80% to 64% ... which is about right. And, to be fair, my putting isn't exactly brilliant either.

my putting sucks! i cant read the breaks very well. But the bigger issue is the speed. I was playing a live tourney last night and the greens were very fast…holy shit, forget about it. I had 10 feet to the flag that was 3 inchs downhill and hit it at 6 feet power. That sucker went 20 feet past the hole

even with normal greens, I just cant find the right read on the speed. I used to be able to take a putt and add or subtract the up or downhill variation and hit it with that power. For example, 10 foot putt going 5 inchs uphill, I would use the 20 foot putter and hit it at 75% power which is 15 feet…..that doesn’t work this year.

Even if its 5 inchs uphill and I move the marker 5 inchs beyond the cup, its still off. Putts that are 10 feet or less aren’t as hard, but I still cant drop them. If its 20 feet or higher, man is it tough to read the speed.

Even if your lucky enough to get the speed, you still gotta get the break……@#$%^&%$#@!!!!!

They always set the greens at lightning fast for the online tourneys. So stupid.

I prefer the offline tourneys now. I really don't want to compete against bestgammaeva's -64.

yeah i didnt care to compete against the cheese scores, just wanted to get an achievement.....i didnt get one though. Maybe the game didnt appreciate my +8 score

Catch the tourney when it opens. I got the top 20 achievement? Something like that for posting a top score. The tourney was only open for about 2 hours and I posted my score. IF your just doing it for achievements then this is the best route to go. I lol @ the amateur scores being -28 through 1 round.

Agreed on the very fast greens. Just when I was getting a feel for the average speed, BAM, I'm putting the ball off the damn green.

I shoot a +12 on Pebble beach, two triple bogies. One on the third the second on the 18th. I hit a beauty of a tee shot that rolls under the trees. Second shot I line up and slice it way left for a water hazard. Next shot is a straight line drive...into the bunker. Hit the bunker shot into, you guessed it...another bunker.

It was then a decent bunker shot that led to a 2 foot put to close out the round...FML.

I'm playng on Tour Pro. This game is ridiculously hard. And frustrating. If my PS3 wasn't important to me it'd be out the window.

Quick question about the gameface feature. I have a digital camera, what else do I need to upload a photo to my xbox for the game face? Could I just use my USB cable, then upload it to the hard drive of the xbox or something?

Just bought the Taylor Made Burner Iron's. Same Iron's I want to get in real life. Finally off those damn default ones. I really want to get a new driver, so hopefully a decent one comes up soon. I want the Burner driver as well.
