NCAA 10 Demo Impressions

Just got home so I'm downloading it now. Hopefully I'll enjoy it although I will by it even if it is mostly the same.

It's really hard to stick with the run. Obviously has to do with 2 minute quarters but it is so hard to consistently even get 3 yard gains I feel like. Maybe I just suck.

As I type this up I break a speed option pitch for 20 yards that is called back for holding. If you keep your gameplan on aggressive you get a lot of penalties. I keep forgetting this.

I've always had that problem in the beginning, but after I get a few games under my belt running the ball becomes alot easier.

First game was 17-14.

Second game was 21-7.

Third game was 7-0.

Fourth game was 14-7.

Really depends on turnovers (which I don't see a lot of) and how much I feel like running vs passing.

Running is much easier on AA. I've also noticed that running stretch plays is much easier than running in between the tackles...so far at least.

I also hate the camera angle when trying to defend deep balls. I can't see the ball radar, nor the ball, I just kind of have to guess where it is and when its coming down. The angle is too low or something.

Don't they "dial" it up for the demo. It would be a boring demo if it was 3-0 or 7-6 all the time for the mass audience.

DL the 360 but if I do get it, it will be for PS3 (but that DL always takes forever for me).

BTW, not that I really care but I didn't know Sam Bradford sports a blonde crewcut. Not only that but his face looks nothing like him.

2 minute quarters. Just finished my first game. Played as florida, and lost 7-14. My only score was on a play action pass to WR #11 who broke free on a 65 yard run. i had the ball on the 3 yard line with a minute left, and Tebow fumbled on a QB sneak, giving oklahoma the ball. although we forced them to a three and out, i ran out of time. Oh well, i had fun. Off to play my 2nd game
