Still not out for PS3 btw.

Either way, I know I'm getting it, so I just can't wait to try it out.

edit: Also for what its worth, PastaPadre said that most of the improvements would not show with the 2 minute quarters

Cant hate on the man for that.

really EA you had one or 2 major issues to fix. Pass Rush being number one on my list. and you didnt get it done. on top of that you broke running offense. WTF, Just WTF.

I played the demo a bit today and here are my impression after about 6 games on AA:

            - There is definitely a user pass rush. I was able to get about 2 sacks a game when they were passing a fair amount. Much better than last year when I would only get them on screens by blanketing the RB.

            - The animations are crisp and a lot more varied. Everything seems more fluid rather than the stock stiff arm animation and such.

            - Running is difficult, but possible. Speed doesn't work nearly as much as it used to and where you run sets up openings as the defense will shift around to where you have ran in the past. If you run up the gut a lot, they will stack the middle, for instance.

            - The defensive keys option is great and really makes it better to play on defense. OU kept passing to Grisham on me, so I keyed him and was able to force 3 and out twice.

            - Florida's speed is still strong, but not killer. Before, I would just get the ball outside and get an easy touchdown when on the goalline. OU was able to stop it twice in a row with ease because I didn't set up the inside run.

            - The play action setup is good. It is by no means an instant touchdown, but normally one guy will be open if it is properly set up. It is not an easy thing to do because the percentage goes up so slowly, but you normally can get an easy first down if you have one set up.

            - The gameplanning is ok, not great, but I don't have my own team to plan around. You can definitely tell the difference and the ability to change it on the fly is nice, too.

Overall, I was thinking I would pass on this game and pick up Madden for the first time in years, but it is a fun game and I'll be buying it again this year.

              Is that all it takes?

My goodness... I can't believe how amazing this game is. Been playing it non stop for 24 hours and every animation is different.

Lol, demo comes out and it's like a holiday! Good stuff. Keep it coming!

Still got about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, most likely, before the PS3 demo drops and I get to see what "Superman" is like!

So I played on Heisman just to make sure it wasn't just on AA that I could get pressure. Played once each with OU and Florida on Heisman and got 6 hurries and 3 sacks combined. I don't know where people are complaining about lack of pressure.

Also, the injuries seem to be turned up this year which is great, IMO.

                      Shennanigans.

Ok, not really, but pressure is an issue. You can get some pressure by blitzing (which is an improvement), but the front 4 rush isn't their. Maybe it's their if I manually rush (I'll test it out), but I had one 12 second and one 15 second pass drop already (just watching the clock, seeing if I'll ever get it).

I'm not as worried about me getting sacks on the cpu as I am the cpu getting sacks on me.

Played my first game. Heisman. I was Florida.

Like i said it was hard to scramble outside. I like how it vibrates after 3 seconds or so makes me feel pressured

I played aggressive all day and got two fumbles

Adaptive ai seemed to work, i ran a lot of PA crosses early and took the early lead. but later in the game, all those plays were swatted away ended up losing 21-14

Player lock was ok. I play safety and it felt like i was out of the play a lot

I got pressure from Florida. I blitz atleast one LB everytime. maybe thats why.
