Thats just how I'm starting to look at everyone bashing it repeatedly for days. Like it rubs you that wrong where you have to KEEP talking about your dislike of a demo.
Man, it's a message board. If you don't voice your opinion then noone will listen.

How do you think Ian Cummings came about to OS? Because enough consumers (you and me) decided enough was enough, let's voice our opinions and stop taking this shit.

I want everyone to bash/hate/piss whatever on this demo. It's a representation of the actual $60 game, so it should deserve just as much criticism.

Mhmmm... because of 2k hockey they are pushed to make their game elite.

      It's competition, plain and simple.

I don't care if people voice their opinion. Thats all fine and dandy but to repeatedly make the same point throughout an entire thread over the course of a few days a little beyond criticism. It's like people want you to hate it as much as they do.

Brain dead? Why...cuz ill buy a game that I enjoy and that I want. Im just not one to bitch about what we cant control. If I truly felt like not buying this game would result in a better game I wouldnt buy. But I dont feel that way. I feel like they will do whatever they please.

And with the shit Madden has but putting out for the last 3 years, they have no reason to be banging on their chest. I owned Madden 08 for 3 weeks, 09 for a month. Hopefully this year for many people Madden will finally pass NCAA.

Good point......Everyone is banking on Madden this year.I will say Madden has been progressing bit it was still a steaming pile. NONE of us has actually touched Madden yet. So just like a lot of us were pretty hyped up for NCAA until they got their hands on it. Madden could easily be a welcomed addition to EA's steaming pile of crap collection

Really it's not hard. you only need 2 plays in this demo to win. Run curl's abd rocket catch every play and, on D, Dime cover 2 man BnR. Did it 3 games straight and UF only scored 3 point in all 3 games. And that was because I threw an INT on my side of the field so they didn't have far to go.

I had high hopes for this game...

This is my issue...definitely the speed of the game.

This thing plays faster than what the NFL should play at...and, I think it has a lot to do with the running physics of the game. It is tough to explain, but the running in football games just doesn't feel like running...it is similar to hockey's skating than it is to running. The running is just too smooth and the result is a game that plays way to fast for its elective sport.

                      Carry on.
Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't this always happened? I could tell a pass play with .2 seconds on any version of NCAA....the camera has always zoomed and the passing icons would come up, even on play action.

It was never this obvious though, play action the camera would stay zoomed in until the attempted handoff then you'd get the icons.

LOL speak for yourself buddy. I like college football more than the NFL, and haven't bought Madden since 2004.

It's been a steaming pile of crap more often than NCAA, so why don't you use them shits as coasters?

(still haven't played this demo so I can't speak on this one, but NCAA is usually better than Madden)

Regarding the Madden vs. NCAA conversation...

I do like this year's Madden, so you can take this with a grain of salt if you like. There will be those who don't feel it's made enough of a leap, and I do fear some exploits might make it through because the game plays so much more organically than before, I can only imagine that the AI will have some catching up to do (don't take this as "I know something", I'm speculating 100% here), but I don't think anyone who plays both this season and is honest with themselves will say that NCAA is the better game.

It's not even close. Even if Madden hasn't improved enough for your tastes, it's just far and away the better of the two.

People shouldn't have to apologize for liking the demo or wanting to buy NCAA 10.
I am laughing my ass off at all the game's fans coming in here and defending their love for the game and decision to purchase it.
At the end of the day, it's you who plays the game, not the rest of us.
If you love it, that's all that matters.
I say the same thing to friends who love fat chicks.
