Madden 10 Demo Impressions

1) How is the camera? Is it the new default Madden camera they introduced last year? Can you still switch it to classic?

2) How is the player control? Easier to make user catches/picks?

Can't touch the camera, I like it tho so....

It's somewhat the same as last year I guess, if not the same thing.


Player control feels good to me. User catching is the same for me, which isn't too hard, but the QB's throw the ball differently than before, so there isn't as many catchable balls as there was in 09.

all madden is still the way to go in my opinion. just takes time to get used to. not gonna be an expert the first day the demo drops.

Agreed yet people still stated it like anything less was baby shit easy. Now here comes the demo and the same people who play nothing but All-Madden exclusively are having trouble...explain how me having a little laugh over this is bad?

And player control is tough. Takes some time to get used to because the speed of the players is completely different and the speed of the ball is way different in the air. I'm not used to it at all yet but getting better. Helped out once i realized that auto strafe is on.

tackling in the open field is very tough, especially if you are taking on a big tight end or a big HB with a DB. if you do make contact, there's a chance he'll still run through you.

agreed. everything seems a heck of a lot slower. maybe it was the snow making it slower idk

What does this mean, they rate the coaching staff?

Yeah, on the loading screen before the game they rate Quaterbacks, Recievers, Runningbacks, Pass Defense, Rush Defense, Special Teams, and Coaching. It's pretty cool.
