Just called up that 800 number, some 80 year old granny told me it will take 6-8 weeks for the game and 1-3 weeks for the magazine. The number to call is 1-800-368-1500

Tell me thats not ass backwards. You guys call and try.

Called them again and this time another woman said it will take 1-3 weeks for both the game and magazine to show up. So I am guessin these guys are using standard delivery.

Not so fast my ill advised and packer delusional friend. I can nearly guarantee that when Champ gets Madden 10, it will be for a shit load cheaper than you. On top of that Champ wil probably have the game by the end of the week.

I see it as essentially getting a special edition of Madden. Sports Illustrated for a while(probably wont renew), Madden, and a DVD. Not a bad deal for 50 bucks.

Wow, just called the number and got some foreign woman. I asked how long this deal was good for probably 4 or 5 times. She didn't understand what i was asking. It's like she had a sheet of FAQ's in front of her and was giving each answer off the list. So I hung up.

They emailed me confirming my subsrcription...

But I've yet to receive the second email. Nothing mentioned about Madden though, which is all I really care about.

Can't you just get the subscription, buy the game on release day from Best Buy, then when it comes in the mail, you can return it with your receipt to Best Buy or where ever and since it is still in the wrapper, get all of your original money back?

This is what I got in my email when I asked customer service about it:

We received your inquiry regarding your recent order. The Madden 10 gift will arrive about 10 days after the order is placed in our system. If you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

And then about 10 mins later I received confirmation on my subscription:

Thank you for your purchase of a six-month (28 issues) subscription to SPORTS ILLUSTRATED magazine. Your subscription includes EA Madden NFL 10 and the complete NFL Films feature documentary "John Madden: The Road to Canton". Your subscription will start with the 08/24/09 issue.

The national release date of the video game is August 14th. No games will ship before then. After the national release date, your gifts will ship as soon as your credit card order is approved and processed.
