There are some... not every injury can be viewed in real time, but some can. A pulled hammy, for instance, has a pretty obvious animation if it's the ball carrier (he'll suddenly clutch the back of his leg and hop a few steps before going down... if he doesn't get blown up before he falls).

Now, I've only seen this one re-injuries, I'm not sure if it only happens on those or not.

Love this game so far...Havent gotten to play a full game yet cus of disconnects and other things, but the game speed is reallll nice IMO. So far my run games have been solid, I love it.

I'm struggling with this game. I better get good... quick.

by real time you mean exactly what? I've had Brandon Jacobs get injured pretty often. Sometimes he'll be dinged up for a few series', once I lost him for the rest of the game.
            Any issues with franchise?

I really need to learn how to switch my RB's and WR's...seems like I can't move the stick when doing the subs.

QB's really have their own throwing animations...McNabb's is very fast...Ryan has a slow windup to throw...Pennington I can imagine may have the slowest...

the gamespeed is lovely IMO...like many have said, you can see the holes developing...u can see the hole to the right opening and adjust accordingly with a juke to that side...it's great.

The pressure can be very fast...gamers won't be able to drop back 10-15 yards...though you can still roll quickly to the right or left in games...DLiine pressure is sick, especially from those teams who rush the passer well.

shutdown CB's are hella tough to pass on...Samuel is a GOD in this game so far lol...

I've only played one game through franchise, nothing yet.

Franchise hasn't changed all that much aside from that Extra Point thingy.

I will say that I like scouting rookies a lot more this year. You get actual attributes instead of generalizations.

One gripe though, I set the accelerated clock to 20s, but it still goes down to 15s, or below (sometimes 12s). Anyone else got this?
That's not the time it runs too, but the number of seconds it runs off.

                      I know what he's saying though A.J.

The clock always runs down to 15, regardless of the setting.

Frankly, I turn accelerated clock off when I play offline and just go with 7 min quarters.

Yeah, 7 minute quarters are working for me as well. I get about 25 rushing attempts and 30 throwing attempts per game. The cpu gets about the same.

Just a quick question to anyone that knows

If you leave the game speed at default, is it still slower than Madden09? I'm unsure of what everyone is talking about.

As I said in another thread... I honestly can't stand going without accelerated clock because I can kill an entire quarter with one well executed drive. I almost unavoidably destroy the CPU in time of possession every game. Sure, the stats can be realistic, but the flow of the game, and the tactics of the game, are thrown completely out of whack. It's kind of a matter of how important is being true to the sport to you?

CPU automatically subs in the backups after halftime during preseason? Nice touch.
