If he states it is banned from XBOX Live, that is the buyers fault for not researching his product. What about someone that doesn't want to go online with it and simply wants it for the ability to burn games? That's a deal for anyone looking for an offline box.

Basic selling 101 is not selling someone a modded Xbox that is unable to go online and if it breaks down will be unable to be sent to Microsoft.

That's not worth the price of a brand new system.

The problem is that a ton of people really don't care because they are just as criminal as he is. Not to mention that some people are too dumb to even know about the return policy anyway, which is one of the reasons why the 360 sales numbers are a bit inflated. It breaks and they just go out and buy a new one like mindless sheep.
