I'm playing on veteran and I just beat the Gulag mission. The key is to take your time, let your squad do some work, and accept you're going to die a few times.

No they IMO completely eliminated it....you can camp out and strategically take them out 1 at a time.

You need to do that in some spots b/c as soon as you stick you head out you will get popped. I had to wait for them to reload sometimes.

There are certain spots where one guy will keep showing up every once in awhile.

Also, for those who are afraid of going on Veteran, "Inside Xbox" gives some good tips on how to work it.

Depends what part of that level you're on. It's the last part that I fucking hated. Spent almost an hour dying every 5 to 10 seconds.

BTW did you guys read through the end credits. One of the last credits were to "Activision Babies" LOL....all the kids born during the making of the games got credits....awesome.

I just finished the game tonight. 1 time through on veteran and it took me a little over 10.5 hours. I loved the whole story. There was multiple times my jaw just completely dropped. This game is sick and single player was high quality. Favorite level, had to be the oil rig...and how fuckin fun were the breaches.

There were so many cool ass scenes. One of my favorites was when you are rapelling with Price and you stab that guy in the chest while he stares at you as he dies.

I can't be the only one that thinks that Soap is a dead ring for Sev from Killzone 2.

And speaking of PS3 games, when you die and you see those quotes on the screen, I could've sworn I saw a quote from Nathan Hale of Resistance fame.

I think I saw it too.

i did really like the oil rig myself....I really felt like a bad ass sneaking into the joint with my squad mates....i played that one over it was so cool.

Tons of games do that. Actually, I don't know too many that don't. It is cool though.

Easily one of my favorite trophies/achievements was getting four kills with four shots during one of the breaches in that level. Awesome.
