    WTF happened to my XBOX

    Alright so ever since I bought it in May of this year (Elite) it has never acted up. I had a friend who randomly gave me some microsoft points. So I went ahead and downloaded the Fallout 3 Theme and the Modern Warfare 2 Tactical theme. This was yesterday. Now today I turn my shit on and at the dashboard there is a block of white lines in the right hand bottom corner. I turn on the game and while playing the whole screen goes nuts with black lines on everything. What the fuck?

          It is your cables. Unplug them, blow them out and plug them back in.

                                  Yup. That's what happened with my LAST RROD. I was playing RE5 and it kept freezing and getting all blocky. After the third or fourth freeze, RROD.

                                      It doesn't freeze. I am almost positive my HDMI cord is shot. I am going to try my friends regular component cables and see if it does it.

                                          it probably the hdmi.....i use one for my ps3 and it acts whacky all the time.

                                          but people do have rrod issues with the video. if its under warranty i would get that thing fixed asap

                                              I have handshaking issues all the time too.. I will have to sometimes turn TV off or turn PS3 off to get it to display.:gonzo:
